Adine I make my own bath bombs sometimes, and I add the lavender oil quite often. It doesn't make the bathroom smell like lavender,but when you're in the actual bath there's a subtle hint of the scent.

i use her recipe everytime its the best one ive found so far. they fizz like crazy! however i add alittle Epsom Salt to the dry ingredients jst to make the bath more relaxing for muscles as well.

Nice work! Very smart to use oils for the liquid part! Usually you see witch hazel or alcohol/water, which brings the risk of the ingredients to react prematurely. The most used ratio baking soda/citric acid is 2:1. Corn starch doesn't bring anything to the table (there is a modified corn or tapioca starch available though, which retains the scent better). I think you've made a lot of people very happy!
