@@Mncbpod By Indian standards, none of the big metros are good. South Delhi is okay for upper middle class. Generally speaking Pune and Chandigarh are the best.

@@val-schaeffer1117 yeah sure i accept chandigarh.. since it is a U.T and maintained by foreighners for so long even before 1947.. and also well planed city.. but when it is come to cost of living.. chennai is top notch.. here you have a breakfast for 5Rs. To 5000Rs. And thats what a middle class people need.. thats how a city to be.. unlike bengaluru where everything was high in cost from a tes to a night stay in a 3 star hotel.. and it suits for mumbai to.. for eg : a 20000 worth rent house is just for 14000 in chennai.. even in the middle of the city... and also there is flats exist for 100k/month... as you know there is a famous quote for resemble chennai "வந்தாரை வாழவைக்கும் சென்னை" 💛💛

@payakan345 good for them, atleast some telugus move there. the side effect of development is population, since every part of Tamilnadu is industrialized the population is booming like no where, karnataka is less populus than Tamilnadu with more area. We have less area, also in that population it is mostly other language people. In Kerala, karnataka Or in Telugu States it is mostly their language people. But in Tamilnadu it is like everyone especially telugus even in powerful position but you won't see any Tamil in powerful positions in both Telugu states, let them developed and diversify this population.

Its sad that chennai during admk s10 year rule no infrastructure project was done. All other cities are far ahead than chennai. The garbage , sanitation, littering, public apathy, poor civic management, posters in walls all make chennai very dirty. Sorry. Even dmk has done nothing. No neatness or cleanliness.. City is like some african backward city.

Bro am also from chennai... nowadays chennai is literally city of dust . Everywhere they are digging and the mud and dust is left without cleaning...if u go in bike wearing a white shirt, u ll return with brown shirt... Just visited bangalore recently , full of trees and no dust at all.... most of places are clean.. Chennai is becoming a place that wont be suitable for human living

Brother skyscraper is not allowed in chennai because weather radar placed in city by indian govt. so its not allowed to build skyscrapers .Now height limit is gradually lifted by authorities. In future you will see more skyscrapers in chennai. For your question , Answer is metropolitan city is decided by population of the city not skyscraper
