How does this serum compare to BoJ ginseng + snail serum except the retinal?

Really?? I was asking myself if it was worthy. Because sometimes there a hip over some products just to discover that they’re not that fantastic😢

​@@francinedupondit's definitely a great product if you have any concerns about wrinkles or fine lines around the eyes, maybe some hyperpigmentation around the eyes, etc. of course you can also use it in other places where there are concerns about these things. It's effective and a great price considering most eye creams (and products in general) with vitamin A are up there in price, and this one is 10-13 dollars for 30ml :)

In all honesty this product is amazing, I had few deep fine lines under my eyes and also few that was starting to form, after roughly 6 weeks the ones that were forming were completely gone and the deep ones were starting to decrease. I have been using it for 4 months now and those deep lines get better everyday. I am about to start using it to my whole face because the Avene retrinal i use on my face is more expensive and I am not quite seeing results. Hope this helps.

It's possible retinol isn't the right choice for you. If this one fails maybe try a vitamin C eye cream, similar benefits!

I have it and its extremely gentle. I used the ordinarys retinol in squalane and it made my eye area hard and stiff and painful but this i barely notice that its retinol

I used around eyes this cream, but, i got more fine lines than before, stopped using immediately. I agree it’s nice texture, nothing more. Just using normal moisturiser from now on.

It’s better not to I believe, because I think vitamin a can degrade with sun exposure even if you’re wearing sunscreen

@@MegaSemmie retinaldehyde is the closest to tret. it surely have the anti aging benefits like tretinoin. it's just that it is less intensen than tretinoin. I've been using mine for 5 days now and my skin is doing really well with it. i can use it every 2 nights and have no excessive dryness or peeling happening. 1 pump is enough to cover my entire face and i rub the excess on my neck. it's a really good affordable retinaldehyde product. i highly recommend it

@@ownsbytessa im using the tret 0,5 like 2 months now and im still peeling my face is used but in the warmer weather im not sure if i want to peel thats why i want to use this produkt but with less side effect but still want have the benefits for anti aging

@@MegaSemmie i used tret 0.025 for over a year and still got occasional peeling from it. in my opinion this eye serum is very gentle compared to my 0.025 tretinoin. i can't even imagine the peeling from 0.05 tretinoin. i think you can consult about it with your derm if you want to switch to this product during the summer. if your main concern is anti aging, it does have the same anti aging benefit as tret but with less irritation but if your main concern is acne, i think it's best to consult with your derm first.

@@ownsbytessa no it is more for the anti aging:) so this proces with 0,5 peeling can take very long thats not what i want,i think i can swith to eye cream if i like it i will use this and otherwise maybe tret for the winter

I started peeling with this cream very early on and did not use any additional moisturizer. I’m curious to see if the peeling will stop at some point, if not I will start with moisturizer before applying

I use an eye cream/ moisturizer before the retinol eye cream and for me that works really well. Before I started doing this the retinol eye cream caused a bit of irritation but since I use moisturizer before it’s fine

You can try it but it's not really an ingredient that's beneficial for such young skin unless you are using it full face to treat acne!

3 weeks is a short period of time, retinoids need at least 6-12 weeks to start showing results.

I started peeling from this. I think it’s strong enough. Obviously if your skin is used to strong retinitoids you might as well just use your general retinol face cream under your eyes with extra caution (moisturize a bit first/and after)

one pump is enough for both under eyes. If that’s just under the eyes you can imagine that your whole face is going to need a bit more. Don’t overdo it, just make sure you blend it well, especially on your targeted areas

I wouldn't use it every day necessarily. When you first incorporate, I'd use 1-2 times a week for a couple weeks, and gradually increase to probably every other day

@@clementinakozma i actually wouldn’t recommend starting as slow as once a week. Your skins cycle will completely heal before applying retinol again the week after. This way your skin will never adapt and get used to it if it’s applied every time your skin has “recovered» from your RETRINOL. This is why so mant peoples skin never adapts and continues peeling.

Im a beginner, 17 years old, using it every 3rd day. Im peeling a bit but im seeding how my skin is adapting to it quickly

@@Karamellbaddie Everyone is different, for some that's the best if they incorporate in their routine slowly. Using retinol once or twice a week at first to see how your skin reacts, and gradually work up to every other day or three times a week it's the safest. Anyway,you do you! I try to help people with my best intentions. Note that not everyone is going to research about it,what how to use,what not to mix together and so on. Better be safe than destroy your skin and get scared, never use again thinking you can't handle it. There is also a possibility that some really can't handle it.

Just be careful as your skin is young and sensitive for retinioids compared to aging skin. Also hope you don’t ever feel the need to use anti-aging ingredients when your just a child. If your ever concerned about having fine lines under eyes/face in general, just know that it isn’t anything compared to wrinkles in elderly people. Just like every other human you make facial expressions. Some people are even born with lines in their face that sticks with them as they grow. Hope you know skin is skin, and it isn’t meant to be smooth as paper. Lines, texture, pimples, acne, hyperpigmentation, it’s all normal and is what makes skin just skin..💁‍♀️

You tried to use a moisturizer under this product? Or you can use it on your neck, chest or just on your body if on the face is to strong. You can leave out the eye area if it's burning. I'm curious about how much you used and how often?

@@clementinakozma I tried it every day, I didn't know how powerful it was, so I just sent it back. I'm still learning how to use retinol. I had to learn to take it slowly.

@@aprilneilson1163 You have to incorporate in your routine very slowly and if you still have problems with it you can use something else instead. I'm not a professional, but I'm so interested in skincare that i learn much. I also did course so i learned from there many things as well. I just say this so you know that i don't just say things, i don't want anyone to make their skin sensitive, it can happen if people use products in a" wrong"way.

You can use eye cream all over your under eye and lid, if using retinol-based eye creams be careful with the lid area as it can be irritating to that thin skin, not everyone gets this irritation but it's common when using retinol.

@@guldiaries19 honestly maybe about 3 weeks of using 2-3 times a week? Your dark circles can also be your genetics so it may not help that but it will definitely help wrinkles, retinol is proven to be effective for everyone in that way

@@Jjinjaforreal my dark circles are not genetic. They are due to external factors that i am trying to work on now. I was just hoping this product may improve or help brighten up around the eye.

@@guldiaries19 then yes definitely give it a try! It’s not harsh or causing any dryness or redness around my eyes too. I have chronic dry eye and my optometrist said it was ok too
