I noticed that as well, but it may be a good and safe style after such a drastic change in length. It could be a transition style before going into a shorter length the next appointment. That is precisely what I did my Sophomore year of college. I had pretty long hair and I decided to go with a bob with bangs, and stacked in back. I also got a perm so that changed it up a bit. That honestly is my favorite and the best style that I’ve ever worn. It was a very fun and versatile hair style. I also switched my side part from left to right depending on the day and what look I wanted. This gave my style a slightly different look as my right side part has a cowlick and gives the look a bit more volume. A few months later I changed it up completely and got a pixie cut.

I've noticed it's a trend. With a lengthy bob one can still style it up or with clip's. Some hair it's just perfect for it!! I'd like to see a little more creative cuts.

I was growing my hair out when I moved to Texas. It got cut into a short Bob when the temperature got to 85°-90°F. When the temperature passed 100°F it turned into a pixie where it has stayed. Everyone, including myself was amazed at how bright my face looked without long, straight hair.

For me, my mom used bobs for children and it turned out to be curly because of my dad. And in 2012 she preferred longer and curly for school trying to raise me.

I really want to try out a bob. I think they look so classy. But I just assume they require styling (with heat) everyday which makes me hesitant to do it.
