Diplomatic Worrior I also thought it was Nigerian because the dance they do is similar to the dance the yorubas of Nigeria do. But the language is what gave it away.I initially thought ivory coast and congo popl only do slow whine but i learned something new today. West african countries have similar dances but speak very different languages, it's fascinating.

Jaychuby chubz lol i have to say that i haven't seen any Nigerians that dance like in the video but who knows maybe Yoruba people like u said, and Congolese/Ivory Coast don't do slow whine, unless it rumba, it good that you learn't something today because all the so call similar dances in West Africa are derive from Congo if you been keeping up with African music for the past 20yrs

Jaychuby chubz You definitely right sister, our African culture sometimes can get a little confusing in a nice way. One thing I just found out; Congolese Bantus are also found in Republic of Central Africa, Southern Cameroon and some part of Ivory Coast. Music from these countries are very similar to Congolese. About Yoruba music, there is something special about Yoruba cultural music that dates to prehistoric time. The only Nigerians artists that perform traditional music are Yorubas, the rest play contemporary or modern music styles. I'm not trying to offend other Nigerians but it's what I see compared to Nigerian musical culture. And if I offend you baby sister, I deeply apologize.
