Ever since I became a kpop fan I’ve never understood the airport gatherings. The airport is one of the most stressful places for me and a lot of people feel the same way. I can’t imagine being mobbed by fans like this. I would faint or break down crying from fear.

This things happens in lack of security, and even if security is not that tight, fans should understand or know their limits

I remember old EXO mobbings on Chinese airports specially, they were even almost kidnapped once. On their first years the airports were CRAZY.

I think with COVID (especially) they should be putting bigger restrictions in airports to A. protect the idol (which is the main priority) & B. The flash mob. Airports should be putting tighter restrictions shame on them.

When I watched this video, I feel so thankful that Carats never went crazy and surround SEVENTEEN like this in public especially at airport.. I remember during Ode To You in North America, Hoshi secretly disguised himself as Seventeen staff when carats were dancing in public then joined carats dancing together and after carats realized it was Hoshi, they still gave him safe space even Hoshi was surrounded by many carats at that time.. I'm so thankful because carats never do such things to seventeen (except saeseng)

I have few things that I think would probably help stop these things from happening or at least much less. You shouldn't actually put as much blame on the companies, since these things are happening at the airport, and its the airport securities job to keep them safe. 1. Airport security need to be much more prepared for when celebrities come. The company let's the airport know about the schedules. 2. Fans should be banned from entering airports, period. 3. The company need to keep the celebrities schedules tightly secured so it doesn't get leaked to the public.

I feel like COVID came as a temporary respite to Kpop idols! Lesser incidences of Airport harassment, no creepy saseng incidents on planes, no throwing things at them on stage, no shoving cameras to their faces yet able to communicate with genuine fans via online concerts & other content.. I feel like they are healing with the environment as population & pollution reduces!

Me also crying cause enhypen must've felt so scared. Like last year was also the peak of pandemic and I think there where lots of positive cases in Korea. My poor boys. 😢

Possible reasons on why some ent. lack security personnels: 1. Some must've resigned. 2. Background checking of hired personnel taking too long as the company needs to be sure they aren't crazed fans or the like. 3. Some personnel must've been absent or on leave possibly due to the rise of covid cases across asia rn, family matters or other personal reasons. To answer your pinned question. YES, fans should just be banned from the airport. Reason, it's about the artists SAFETY, PERIOD. Airports need to set up space for artists/celebrities (any celebrity) who are leaving and coming to enter in privacy and leave the airport in privacy. 1. Companies NEED TO TAKE SAFETY A PRIORITY. It's NEGLIGENT to not have an ample amount of security on hand and it's NEGLIGENT to not address a security breach when artists lives are put in danger (no matter how small or how big). It's also NEGLIGENT to allow safety breaches to continue. 2. Companies NEED to have a secure firewall in their systems so hackers, saesangs, and others who pose a threat with personal business, personal information, and schedules (private schedule and business schedule) CANNOT ACCESS it. It's also NEGLIGENT TO NOT HAVE THIS IN PLACE. *This is a part of business, management, and administration 101. The artists/celebrity (any celebrity) are the ones RISKING their lives when they walk out the door and COMPANIES NEED TO MAKE IT A PRIORITY, the artists are the ones making the money to put in their pockets and companies need to recognize that and make sure those who are making you money are able to continue to make you money (that means treatment on fairness across the board, that includes safety).

There was on BLACKPINK when they started their first concert here in the Philippines. There's a lot as in a lot of blinks waiting for them at the airport and i couldn't forget that BLACKPINK ride on the top of the vehicle because there's no way for them and Jisoo was harassed by a fan as far as i remember he touched Jisoo's butt or thigh. As a Filipino Blink I'm really ashamed because of this incident, i hope that some of fans should learn or should know the privacy.

Mobs like this is the main reason why I don't like going to concerts/events even my faves have had here in my home country. It's chaotic af and too stressful. I can't even stand staying in an elevator full of people. Crowds just suck the life out of me. I was always annoyed by people doing this. Can't they stop and observe in peace? Idols are humans too and they are affected by these kinds of behaviors. I'm always disgusted every time I see videos of fans invading idols' personal space. Especially in airports. It was bad for everyone. But what do they do to Enhypen? Those people need to be checked by a specialist. If it was before their debut, then its means that they were even younger than now. Underage. That boys are just babies and they had to endure that. Sasaengs are just so crazy and annoying!! They really don't know what is personal space! There was even a time where Jackson had to go on his knees and ask the fan to let them go . They go to such crazy extents just to have their Idols remember them , even if it means harming them . Some of them take it extremely way too far and they should be charged and jailed for their actions . Sasaengs are disgusting!
