He wrote the original music and the chorus for her ... she wrote the words of the verses, and it is such a beautiful song. And she sings it so brilliantly here. She knows her voice has aged, and she knows how to use it. She sings this song more gently, and yet with the full passion. She sings it so that it shows what true love that has aged is like ... Think of a well-aged wine. This is what she expresses here in how she sings this ... A well aged love. It is utterly beautiful.

We are so fortunate to have Patti Smith in our world! Reminds me of a comet, with a Galaxy of falling stars embracing us all! She is truly amazing, and oh so lovable! Rock on Mama!
