Those 3 hands in the flashback to the dream were ragatha's , zooble's and jax or gumigoo which I don't know, the challenges are to keep the people sane, Caine is an AI it was confirmed, in a split second u can see Jax having a little bit of a sad emotion on his face before shifting it and walking away and I think Jax doesn't want to show his grief and how sad he is for kaufmo's death, Jax is the most reasonable character cuz he is doing the challenges to have fun and be sane of it rather than doing things that is boring for him and he does things like throwing Pomni overboard cuz he knows there are no consequences for his actions and maybe he throwed her cuz he saw the truck of the gators and knew Pomni wont get thrown into the candy desert ,you can see the other gators playing patty cake in the back, Caine is not evil , he is just a normal AI who has power to do stuff.

My theories: Pomni - about to abstract but the funeral prevented it. Jax - definitely going to abstract due to disappointment, probably a criminal that stole a VR headset that dragged him into the circus. Kinger - also going to abstract, probably got traumatised by the death of his queen and wish to escape. The people who abstracted - probably overloaded themselves with negative emotions and wished desperately to escape. Why Caine never changed the Abstracted back to normal - abstraction is the effect of something happening in the characters’ minds which Caine cannnot control. Why Caine is driving Pomni close to abstraction - Caine has no idea and he is just following the rules/programme of the creator.
