Beckett is so right about Netflix. I cancelled my subscription. It’s mostly filth. And when you stop watching these shows- you won’t be able to go back. Your eyes will be opened, just by staying away. And now my eyes are seeing so much more of where we have been lied to. Evil has filtrated everything. It always had, but my eyes can “see” now.

I've been a lukewarm Christian for years now. This testimony really sparked a fire in me and made me rethink everything. Here's a man who's willing to fight his natural urges for the rest of his life! And I cannot even be grateful to the Lord for giving me all that I have? Testimonies are so important.

It’s so true how it felt like every emotion! Conviction over my sin, joy that He was real, FEAR that He was real, shock that He truly went through all of that for a sinner! It was so intense! GOD bless you for your bravery! I pray for GOD to bless you, protect you and continue using you for His honor and glory 🙏🏽 I grew up in the Catholic church in Canada for some years. My family then moved to France and we stopped going to church for 5 years...the effects of culture indeed! I was bullied badly, experienced depression, sexual abuse, addiction, struggled with culture shock, third-culture kid syndrome and lost faith in GOD and became an atheist. Then, I moved back to my home country (Malawi). Malawi is a very religious country and I got saved around age 20 after hitting ROCK bottom from the vanity of my existence without GOD and became a worship leader (I'm a musician/singer-songwriter). I met my husband in our worship team in June, 2011(Matthew 6:33) 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 and have never looked back!

I have so much love and respect for Beckett. He’s bringing SO MANY people to Christ. His testimony is so moving it had me crying. I’m so thankful he’s sharing his story of salvation. Praise be to the one true God. Beckett’s channel is such a blessing to the kingdom. I’m so thankful I found it. On a side note, I cancelled my subscription to Netflix a few years ago. I could see they were filling their programming lineup with more and more propaganda until it just felt like a political agenda machine. The one or two shows I watched simply wasn’t worth supporting a company who was so clearly not in alignment with Christian values.

It's so important to understand that you didn't earn your salvation and because of that, you can't lose it either. When you trust Christ, you are sealed unto the day of redemption - even if you stop believing! (2 Timothy 2:13)
@ninaballerina2807

What an utterly blasphemous interpretation! Is that what you make of the incomparable Faithfulness of God? Clearly you have not understood the Gospel at all. God's Faithfulness was revealed and manifested right at the very beginning itself when though rebellious Adam (Isa 43:27, Hos 6:7) had despite God's faithful forewarning chosen Death instead of Life, God still went ahead and gave them a second lease of life in this body on earth so that they may avail of the opportunity and repent and return to Him. Adam however persisted in his rebellion and in his continued distortion of God's Word and perished in his sins (Gen 5:5). Just as it was prophesied to him (Gen 3:19). All his accursed descendants followed suit, with very, very few exceptions. So that God reduced man's span of life on earth to a mere 1/10th and emphatically made it known to an utterly slow-to-understanding and senseless human race (eg. Jer 51:17) that the Spirit of God will not strive with the spirit of man forever (refer Gen 6:3). For clearly people forget that this is a temporary lease of life and that they will ultimately succumb to the curse of Death which their first father invited upon them. Further, read Ezek 18:21-32 and understand what the Word of God teaches on the matter. Finally, I conclude with 2 Tim 2:19 which clearly warns, ".......'Everyone who confesses the Name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.'" P.s. So be warned! For false witnessing is an unpardonable sin- refer for egs. Job 42:7, Jer 24:39, Isa 32:5-7, Matt 7:15-16 & 21-23, Matt 15:19, 2 Jn 9-10, 2 Pet 2, Jude 4 etc.

@@ninaballerina2807 Thanks for my first laugh of the day because if anyone is being blasphemous it’s you for denying the gospel of the grace of God to us undeserving Gentile dogs (for all the rest of the entire Bible does not concern us, but only God’s chosen, which now he has cast away as a nation forever), so only Paul’s epistles to the Ephesians and Colossians actually apply to us today (because even the “Jews” are Gentiles now), so believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit unto the day of the redemption of the purchased possession (eternal security - before that time believers could be “cut off” if they ceased to abide in Christ), translated into the “kingdom of his dear Son” Colossians 1:13 KJV and fellow heirs with Christ of the restored earth. If you want to cling to a failed law program that did not even apply to you, you had better enjoy this life because it will be all you’ll ever have.

@@dfkuz It is of such as yourself that it is written, "....who use their freedom as a cover-up for Evil.." - eg. 1 Pet 2:16. Your ill-contrived complacency is as blasphemous as your false witnessing. Just as 2 Tim 3:7 testifies against your kind of end-time women, "Always learning but never able to acknowledge the Truth." See if you have the gumption to read for eg. Zeph 1:12, Mic 3:11b, Amos 9:10, Isa 32:9 & 11 and learn the consequences thereof. Woe to you for daring to come to me, a faithful servant of God, with your utterly vile teaching, you abominable spirit of Jezebel! Indeed, just as Paul has written, eg. 1 Cor 15:19: If only for this life YOU have hope in Christ, YOU are to be pitied more than all men! Finally, you may laugh your Godless mirth all you want for to your eternal disgrace and exposure, God and the Godly will yet have the last laugh - Ps 2:4, Ps 37:13, Ps 52:6-7, Prov 1:26 etc.

The Bible says that if you continue to sin willfully, there is no more sacrifice for your sin. When we become christians, we need to die to our flesh, pick up our cross and follow Jesus. He didn't die so that we could stay in our sin or do whatever we want, He died and rose so that we could be free from the power of sin and be a new creature in Him.

Unfortunately if you read the Bible it is very clear that God is not "good all the time". Here are some examples of Yahweh/Jesus slaughtering babies and the unborn for you to consider: by drowning in (Genesis 7: 22); burning to death in (Genesis 19: 24 ); putting to the sword in (1 Samuel 15:3 & Numbers 31: 17) and putting to death just to show off in (Exodus 11:5). I find no "good" in these atrocities. If you are considering a reply, please remember these are not my words, they are the words of the god that you believe inspired them. I am not responsible for the words that are written, I am simply reminding you of what you seem to have conveniently forgotten. Perhaps you are instead considering regurgitating the apologetic trope that is often used to excused this slaughter. Please don't bother, I have heard them all and still I say, and always will, that the slaughter of babies and the unborn is objectively immoral.

@@How.To.Get.Saved. *"God is aware of you."* WHAT "god" and how would you know such a thing?! Isn't it pretty arrogant to claim to be in posession of knowledge about an unseen being - which would be astounding if it were found to be true? People win Nobel Prizes for much less amazing discoveries. OK, your next remark is one of my favorites. It is truly incredible how *OFTEN* we hear it: *"Do you not want to believe in God because you don't want to be accountable to Him (because you don't want to give up your sins)?"* This is pretty strong evidence that you're not giving all this much serious thought. It''s like saying "Do you not want to believe in police because you want to committ crimes?" Think about how silly that comment is!! We DON'T decide not to believe something because of the consequences we might not like! It's super hot out today, so I don't believe in the sun. And there are MORE problems with your comment: 1. If a *BELIEVER* is convinced that a magical unseen being holds him accountable, why would you assume someone who rejects such superstition is trying to avoid accountability???! That's YOUR belief, not mine!! I'm not accountable to imaginary beings, and you shouldn't be either. But here's ANOTHER problem: 2. Even if your magical character *ACTUALLY EXISTED,* please tell me this: on what grounds should anyone be obligated to it? What if you disagreed with this character? Why would anyone assume that another form of intelligence should be able to dictate how we should behave? What if you think the guy is flatout wrong!!? Take your time. Think about it.😇

Wow, for a long time I envied people who had definate conversion experiences and yours is SO awesome. I have been a Chtistian since the age of 5 or 6 years old and for many years couldn't remember exactly when I became a Christian. Later I identified 2 experiences when it probably happened. But the point is WOW, you have an AWESOME conversion story. Thanks for sharing the story of your life with us 🙏

Wow, you definitely need to do some independent research into childhood indoctrination. If you do, I am sure you will conclude that there is nothing "awesome" about his story or the fact that you are a Christian and not say a Hindu.
@amandamartin4585
@amandamartin4585 2 жыл бұрын
It wasn't indoctrination as we never went to church. As a child I only went to Sunday school 2 or 3 times. And my mom put us to bed with a bedtime prayer. That was it. I've always had faith but never had a born again experience. When the Holy Spirit touches you / speaks to you, it is an encounter with God , there's nothing like it. As Becket said, he could live under a bridge, and it will ok. because he has Jesus. As an adult, I always wanted a striking encounter with God, something radical. But I realise that my strong faith in a living Almighty God that sent Jesus to die for our sins is enough. I did have 2 clear experiences as a 4 -6 yr old child and i think those were my "born again" experiences. Being a true believer goes way further than an intellectual exercise. It's a relationship with our Creator God. The Bible is the living word of God, it Feeds you, guides, teaches and comforts you. Its more than I can explain and definitely not the same as being a Hindu, or Budisst or anything else🙏

@@amandamartin4585 If you can't be bothered to research "childhood indoctrination", then I can't be bothered to listen to your un-evidenced nonsense. I am a former Christian, I only went to Sunday School and church occasionally, but I was absolutely indoctrinated. I've also had a profoundly life changing experience with what I believed to be the living God when facing death in hospital. I after much research however I came to realise that I had no justification for attributing my experience to the Christian God and neither do you. I am sure that many Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims, will assert, just like you, that their experiences are definitely not the same as yours. You can't get more close to "god" than being convinced enough to fly a plane into a building. Faith is the excuse people use when they don't have evidence and by your own words you have none. Belief without sufficient evidence is indistinguishable from gullibility and I, unlike you, have no wish to be gullible. You say the Bible "comforts", if you actually read it, it is very clear that God does not always "comfort". There is no "comfort" in these examples of Yahweh/Jesus slaughtering babies and the unborn: by drowning in (Genesis 7: 22); burning to death in (Genesis 19: 24 ); putting to the sword in (1 Samuel 15:3 & Numbers 31: 17) and putting to death just to show off in (Exodus 11:5). I find no "comfort" in these atrocities. I, unlike you, will never willingly sacrifice my humanity on the alter of your god and call these atrocities "comforting".

You sound very angry and cynical. If God made me then he knows best. Like everyone, I am just dust waiting to happen. Our brains are finite. That doesn't mean to say we shouldn't use them. But we are not more moral or mire intelligent or more anything than God. Since a child I have had many other experiences in life and some that "prooves" that God is the God of the Bible. One was when I witnessed a racist incident where a white woman treated a black man SO badly at work ( he had just lost his wife and was covered in grief and she didn't believe him - he had come to request compassionate leave to go home. If was about 1989 in South Africa and we worked on a gold mine. He had to travel far yo go home to burry his wife. The white woman said she was a born again Christian. My brain / soul couldn't process what i was witnessing- how could a Christian do that. The whole day i felt frozen. When the bus dropped us off at home, I ran to my room got the Bible and in one movement flung myself on the bed and stuck my finger in it. My reasoning was that this just can't be, God must talk to me. I was about 22yrs old and a baby Christian. The verse I got was 1 Samuel 16 :7 "But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearor at hus physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." I was young and desperate and dont advise doing the same. But immediately the frozen feeling lifted, I had confused God with Christians / fallible people and when God told me yhat that's not what he is like, everything was fine. God is good, we aren't I trust God not man or even myself. I hope you don't gjve up on talking to Christians. Please keep an open mind and heart and try not to be angry when you speak to them. 🙏 ❤

@@amandamartin4585 Wow, you totally ignored what I wrote. I am "angry" at anyone who would call the slaughter of babies and the unborn "comforting". I am "angry" at those who lie about what the Bible actually teaches about such things as slavery; misogyny; human sacrifice and forced abortion. I am "angry" at those who take "comfort" without consideration for the suffering their "comfort" causes so many others. Sorry but I no longer consider you to be a intellectually honest interlocutor, so take the last word if you wish but I am done with this conversation.
