Sketch My Day 🎨 At the Park and Cafe , Ink and Watercolor Tutorial

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing with you my afternoon in New Westminster, first sketching at the Rose Garden in Queen's Park, then at a nearby cafe. Please watch the video until the end for my full process composing this sketchbook page using pen and watercolors.
🎨 Materials I used:
- Sailor's fude fountain pen (Bamboo Green)
- Noodler's Brown 41 Ink (to fill the fountain pen)
- Mungyo watercolors
- Etchr Mix-Media A4 size Landscape Sketchbook
- Holbein Water Brush (large tip)
- Holbein water brush (medium tip)

Is it just me who feels the speed is too fast?🥴 I slowed to 0.75, and enjoyed your day in the park, as always! Thank you so much!

Yeah I agree I prefer live speed rather than accelerated, especially when drawing at the same time. But I think a lot of people just binge watch videos, so accelerated is better for them.

Becky, I have noticed lately you seem to have started making a pencil sketch ahead of doing the pen work. Have you changed your approach / style? I also found the speed to fast but still as always enjoyed your video.

Over the years, I do start making a very quick pencil sketch first sometimes. When I'm in public, I like to do a pencil sketch so I can stay focused on the drawing process better when people pass by and talk to me. I do this sometimes over the past 12 years since I started art journaling, and you can find this in my earlier videos.
