Do a disc chime run. It does some ridiculous damage with its basic "bash" attack. Something about the damage boost that would be for spells also is attributed to the bash attack, or something like that. Way more effective than you think it would be.

One of my weird but personal favourites is the Stone Ring at the start of the game, before the fire keepers, the extra poise damage is just so nice and super convenient. Win / win for super early game and normal mobs.

Oh so the fps is why your weapons break, I often learn something new about DS2 with you, that's why you are the GOAT!

I’ve never used this sword cause I thought the damage gained from souls would be mediocre but this build is insanely good

Idk if you're aware of it, but if you are in the champions' covenant (the giant covenant stone in Majula), enemies don't despawn after you've killed them 12 times. So you could've farmed the last petrified dragon bone from the dragon babies by briefly joining the covenant. The covenant buffs enemies too btw, makes the game a bit harder.

After conquering the Lands Between, the king of Drangleic returns home. And yeah, in Vendrick's hands the Ruler's Sword is the size of a Zweihander but we get a toothpick. It's the only problem i have with that weapon.

Ruler's Sword feels pretty solid up to NG+3. After that, feels just about as effective as any other Greatsword.
