I cannot tell how much I related to every word of this conversation! Thank you to you both for posting this conversation. When I went through the first few years of my postpartum, I couldn't clearly articulate to my husband or my parents what I was feeling and what I needed from them...but having puja speak about it, made it so much easier! In a way the length and depth of the conversation you two have is informative. I''m particularly touched by the genuine answer the wife gave to "what's the saddest thing about being a mom?" question @23:09. With courage and fitting words, it is self-evident that the wife has transformed to womanhood, and motherhood. Look at her hands (body language) and facial expression while answering the very difficult question. I think the couple is typical American without losing some of the subcontinent's culture. Whenever it feels right, please share with your 3.5 million audience about your educational upbringing and professions. Though motherhood may have kept the wife home, she seems to have a profession and she seems to miss it. In this case, the hubby is smart, listener, sensitive and creative to fill the newly created gap with more love, acknowledgement and support. You are awesome!

Once U become mother it's all about the child ❤ your career can wait because the first 5years of a child are the most important and you should be present always in his life and you make that commitment only when U ready to take that responsibility,my kids never attended childcare or I had nanny or baby sitter I'm always making sure I'm there when he needs me as for career it can wait it's never late to start

I believe staying at home mum is very rewarding it’s more than enough. Women can also work at home too. Also going to work and juggling everything is hard for a woman . And day care is very expensive and a stranger is raising your child. And the stranger is looking out to see if your child is in danger or not , and is looking after other kids too

PUJA, you are already living a dream life, a beautiful loving baby, husband who adores you! That may be why you can't really figure out what you want because what you want is already happening in your life!

The comment from Puja: "Mothers are expected to do everything" made me cry. I'm a mom of 15 months old daughter. I'm working 9:00 - 5:30 and have to leave my daughter in daycare. Mom guilt kills me every day. I want to be a SAHM, but I'm also worried I won't get a job later on. As a recruiter, I try my best to bring diverse profiles in just because of that. It's high time companies should do something about this and help mom's with career break come back to work. Thanks, Reza and Puja, for speaking about such a sensitive topic. ❤

regarding motherhood and working life, it’s utterly upsetting when there’s pressure on women to be successful and thriving in working life when they simply choose another path. Being successful is an abroad term. It also means you’re taking care of your family and yourself equally and not feeling bad about it.

Mom guilt is real but u also still need to date your partner. We seem to forget that part when we have kids. Im realizing im giving my daughter the best of me when i have that time away and get my mind straight. You will learn to let go of that feeling slowly ❤
