This reminds me of a time when I met Charlie in Tampa. I saw him late at night kneeled in the road chanting! I recognised him due to his below average height and went to say hi, but before I could he tackled me to the ground and poured battery acid in my eyes! Such a cool dude, amazing interaction. The AZO pain relief tablets you can get over the counter at any pharmacy/grocery store work wonders for that. Obviously it won’t cure the infection like antibiotics will, those pills are just for the symptoms to make it less miserable while you’re waiting for antibiotics to work.

Even if he forgot the camera, phone, whatever he used to take the picture, those disappearances should have been enough for at least some people (especially his own family) to believe him, or consider the possibility of cult activity.

I see a lot of comments saying that this one of all of the episodes is fake, but while the series of events might not have been exact, it's not outrageous to think that a watchman in the woods came across some cultist activities. The dev probably exaggerated some plot points and added some events, like the cultist breaking into the tower in order to add more thrill to the game, but it's not an unbelievable story.
