I've never supported anyone so much when it comes to survival kpop shows etc except for this girl. Whenever I see Bahiyyih doing her best in the show or see her succeed(and no not because she is an idol's sister but because she really is talented and has a very charming personality plus she's naturally funny), she makes me so happy, I can't help but smile whenever she performs! I legit teared up when she won 2nd place, lowkey felt like a proud fam🤍

We will never get the perfect line-up in survival shows. What's done is done. You don't get to hate on a girl, especially a minor, for being able to succeed. People voted for her, she didn't just claim the position and it was suddenly hers. If you really think your faves are so talented and deserve the spot more, fine, but you don't have the right to bring someone else down just because. The other trainees were great and they will surely succeed and debut in no time. They're all talented, good-looking, fun, and most importantly gained recognition through gp999. In the end, there was no manipulation. It was all voting. Even if the voting was k-voting, Bahiyyih would be 7th. If it was international, she would be 1st. She'd debut either way. The biggest factor in survival shows with a voting system like this is recognition. Not only is her name famous, but she also had pre-debut videos which hooked us and WE decided to vote for her (I didn't vote for anyone though oops). Was her brother a big factor? yes. But is that the reason why she debuted? Not necessarily. MOAs have a reputation of being lazy when it comes to voting, you really think all or a majority would vote for a sister when they can't even vote for their own group? Kai was just a way of us getting to know her. Her talent and personality are what made people root for her. Scratch all that, no one deserves to be bullied. Especially, when all they did was mind their own business.

I have never been so invested on a survival show ever before and one of the reasons why i had been so invested on gp999 was bahiyyih. I don't even know how and when but I just love her so much, I worry about her every single day. She's one of the girls who had always been consistent with each and every performance- yes she might not have tried for killing positions or main vocal positions but no matter what she did she was never criticized by the judges if not praised, she really gave her best for everything and worked hard so thats what counts on the most. And about being Kai's sister, there's a limit for everything, I am sure people won't invest so much on someone just because shes someones sister- if there wasn't anything to her she wouldn't have so many supporters. No matter how much people hate her, she's gonna still be debuting as Kepler whether they like it or not. I hope the people who helped Hiyyih acheive 2nd position support the group as much. At 6:47 , I saw a tweet that said hiyyih was trying to use yujin as clout, that's why she act like she's kind. And I was like... WTF? she did that bcs SHE IS KIND. Those haters really spouting bullshit everywhere ugh

To haters: Honestly i'm not surprised with final rank, even before the final (the interim ranking, where they start individual votes). Before, individual fans 'forced' to vote two other candidates from different country, especially when korean votes weight more. So, many high ranking trainee from Japan and China became 'filler votes'. Also, mnet released interim ranking where Xiaoting dropped of top 9, i think because they panicked, from the start (as you can see from the edit) Xiaoting is Mnet fav from other Chinese Trainee. That's because other have controversy about korean war (and Xiaoting the only is 'clean'), you can see the article on internet, just search it up. So, when individuals fans doesn't have to votes for other than their fav (filler votes), specially koreans (where their vote weight more than global fans), it didn't surprise me at all how the rank change drastically. Specially for Japanese and Chinese contestants. No need to hate those who debuted in Kep1ler + those who have many fans who vote for them. After all those who joined GP999 CAN'T control it. They can't control that they have many fans that vote solely for them, they can't control that they have an already debuted idol brother, they can't control that they already debuted and already gained fans from it (CLC fans, Cherry Bullet fans, Fanatics Fans, X21 Fans, GNZ48 fans etc), same to those who already joined other previous survival show and also gained fans from it (Produce 101 China,Produce Camp 2020, Produce 48) also famous trainee (Sakamoto Mashiro-Itzy, Kim Chaehyun-Aespa). No one really have zero fans from the start. In the end, ALL of them have the SAME dream and purpose to debut in GP999 and worked really hard for it. There is one comment in reddit that i want to quote: "I don't know if Bahiyyih antis realise this but they are one biggest reasons why Bahiyyih got so much support and end up in the debut line. People in general don't like to see a single person receiving hate for NO REASON (what did Bahiyyih really did wrong?) so her being the pushing bag and "underdog" made many people sympathise with her. I personally think it's true, at first i don't really care about GP999 because of the controversy and manipulation in previous produce series. Shortly, in the middle of the show i got to know about ridiculous hate Hiyyih receive, the improvement she has and decided to vote for her. And no, i'm not even fans of TXT. Truthfully, before GP999 started, the only contestant i know is CLC Yujin, but because the hate Bahiyyih has, i got to know her. Also, antis say it’s because Hiyyih is untalented but, not to drop names, Mnet 2 previous girl survival group (in IOI and Izone) had a member that wasn’t very talented but I don’t think she got hated the same way. There is Ha Sung Woon too from produce 101, who got supported by someone who is more famous than TXT (Kai EXO and Jimin BTS), but he didn't received the hate Bahiyyih got either. There is Mashiro too who got supported by Itzy members, but did she receive the hate Bahiyyih got? Those who complain about their favourites not getting in can only blame the Fandom or Mnet, not Bahiyyih. Stop hating and arguing about who is who deserved it. Everyone deserved it, but there is only 9 spot. It's the harsh truth of survival show and overall kpop industry where not everyone got the chance to debut. Accept it, and continue to support your fav who didn't make it, instead of wasting your energy hating on those who make it (including those who underage, seriously people). Stop being immature.

the fact that she's a self trained trainee and already a stable singer?? a good dancer??? fear her when she got a proper training.. AND her growth from ep 1 till the last ep is pretty insane, she IMPROVED so much in a short spam of time!! BAHIYYIH I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!

ngl i didnt get why people said she was untalented. she had one of my favourite voices on the show - it’s so smooth and pretty, and then people had the audacity to say she was bad at dancing? tbh she had one of my fav dance styles, she could dance full out without looking like she threw herself around

Her older sister even mentioned that she herself forgets she is the eldest in the huening sibling line and that Bahiyyih is the most kindest and thoughtful sibling amongst them , kep1er members also ranked bahiyyih as the most mature out of all the members, a member even gave her a mentality of a 22 year old even though she is just 18.

Bahiyyih had one of the most interesting cases I've seen for a Produce show contestant. She was initially supported by MOA who slowly drained away and were replaced by genuine Bahiyyih supporters (hence the drastically inconsistent ranking dips throughout the show). The most interesting thing to me is that on this show, you're meant to show why you're the best candidate to debut, 'me me me look here vote for me' (understandably, this is the formula for the show) while Bahiyyih showed why she was one of the best candidates to be in the group (her and Mashiro did this best imo). She always looked out for others first. Always. When others were stressed or upset she comforted them and checked on them first and when she was stressed she smiled and was strong for the team. Support members are extremely important in a group and are extremely underappreciated, but they're the members who make a group feel like a unit and feel connected. And lot's of companies have this formula figured out; they have a pool of trainees to choose form and still choose some members who aren't amazingly talented but have strengths elsewhere, such as supporting the group, visuals, T.V personality, having previous experience and fanbase, interract with fans a lot, or being especially talented in a very particular niche (rap, dance). Or debuting a member who looks unprepared and the fandom feels like they get to grow with them and watch them improve. If all members are individually talented, the group doesn't look well put together. Members like Yujin, Mashiro and Bahiyyih are important to the integrity of the group as support members.

To be honest, at the beginning of gp999 I didnt like Bahiyyih. I didnt hate her, but I didnt love her like others either. However, when gp999 ended, I found a lot of clips of her on youtube, and I thought she was kind and cute, so I started to get more interested in her. I saw her videos from gp999 and before participating, and I realized that her voice was very stable and harmonious, her dancing was very good and her facial expressions were very cute. I also saw that she was very kind and constantly put in a lot of effort during the show. Currently, I adore Bahiyyih and I just hope that others see how great that girl is. WE LOVE U HIYYIH

I literally only watched the show for Bahiyyih and Yujin. Seeing Bahiyyih getting flamed on every episode was what kept me voting and supporting for her, so that she can prove to the haters that she can deliver so much more, but when GP999 was nearing it's end, her screentime also lessened which pissed me off so much. The amount of hate she get is so stupid, infuriating and sad. Like, she didn't do anything in the show that made her a bad trainee, she actually kept improving every performance and the fact that MNET doesn't show that is what feeds the Antis.

Even though she is very very talented, a lot of people are interested in her because of Kai. And I know that a lot of people who support first started supporting her because of Kai. But when you think about it, it can be seen as a good thing. Her whole situation in gp999 reminds me of yuehua's Hanbin during his time in I-LAND... many of the people that didn't root for him kept saying bad stuff about him and his talent. When in fact, all his screentime was just taken from him, that's why we didn't see much of his recording process, his friendship with the trainees, and he also lost his confidence during the survival show...

I'm so proud of Hiyyih. She's come so far at only 17 years old and dealing with the hate from "fans". I don't even stan any of GP999 contestant (but this close 👌🏻 to stan chaehyun btw bcs of her vocal). Everytime I saw the mission's performance I was always impressed by them. honestly, bahi is literally my role model :( her expressions gets targeted a lot.. and for me, as someone who has an rbf + my asian features are intimidating, whenever I join school competitions for like arts, especially dancing and singing i always get made fun of about how i looked.. lifeless lol, at first it was funny and i tried to strive to better myself, but the criticism turns into like a joke, then eventually it got very insulting that i lost all my confidence to improve myself better and just gave up in general :( now that I see bahi, she's literally the epitome of growth and journey. i wished i endured it a little longer maybe i could've found passion in dancing and had great self confidence within me :( i love bahi so much regardless of how short her screen time was.. she has nothing to prove anyone just coz his brother went up debuting first and being successful in the industry. and if she's going to contribute and leave a legacy in this kpop industry, she's going to be heuning bahi, and not heuning kai's sister.

we've been through so much hiyyihlights. but let's celebrate and be happy that hiyyih is finally debuting. 😭✊

I Stan people with pure talent as me been a creative cause to perform ,sing ,dance ( which I love doing is hard to do for real so I don't know why people hate on others who has never done you wrong for ni no reason .

Bahiyyih was the hero we needed but didn't deserve. She fought against Mnet alongside Fu Yaning, Su Ruiqi, and more. Mnet clearly didn't want her in the final lineup given the minuscule screen time they gave her.. Famous K-pop brother or not, Bahiyyih spoiled Mnet's plans to create their ideal lineup.. which was a slap in the face for them.
