These videos are so inspiring. And I can definitely attest to how training with a faster runner helps. Years ago when I ran my second half I trained frequently with a buddy who was the state cross country champion and he would leave me in the dust every time. I would try my hardest to keep up with him in all the drills, hills and sprints we did. Ended up shaving 15 minutes off from the first time

Smart moved...your new bike position looks better, very noticeable on the shape of your back and knee angle.. . it seams that your hamstring has more equal work. Great!!! Always training partners are an asset !!! We r cheering so bad for you!!!! Race day morning will pray for you!!!!!!!

I wish you the best for Kona. And PS: Man, you look so much better on the bike than in the past!

the best thing what you did this year, to change all back, you was already close, so it is indeed just to close the last six mile, and if you stay with wurf and kienle in the swim , the 3musketeers can do some damage again. Have fun and patience, you are so fresh in years compared to the others.

When I first saw you on your new bike you looked more comfortable and more stretched out. Then you said you went back to the larger frame it made sense. When you were using the small frame your back look curled up and you looked uncomfortable, although you were still pounding huge watts. Good Luck in Kona 👍

Run technique and bike position and handling. That’s where Frodeno currently (injury aside) has Sanders. Grit, determination and brute strength and will power = sanders. But he needs to swallow his pride and get a coach to help him transition from heel plant to mid / front foot to become an efficient runner.
