@@ThatGBAGamerImo one thing they needa do is change level 2 if you use it you lose all your current drinks at the very least let him keep 1 drink.

People play scummy af against you at round start. That input buffer makes shimmy into bakkai turn into a dp too often. Dive kick should be available on neutral jump and drink 0, give command grab a little more range, drinks minus 1 each round, and make OD rekka 1st hit plus on block, it's pretty useless otherwise and would help make command grab a real threat.

Getting an EX palm early into two drinks has made Jamie a lot easier in my gameplay.

Ah yes Jamie the character that deals negative damage until he drinks his wierd ass Cool Aid - Dissani mixture and makes your relationship with the dance floor... intimate

Been playing nothing but Jamie since release. Took the advice of picking a character I thought was cool and I’ve been loving it. Idc if people think he’s low-tier. He’s fun as hell.

Man, this is the character I want to play most. But he's intimidating as a new player. The different drink levels, to me, just feels like I have to learn multiple different characters wrapped into one due to his changing combos / normals.

You could segment it a bit (i.e. learn how to do 0 drink combos and just use drink to boost your damage, then learn some 1 drink combos, then 2 drink combos, you get the point).

I say just play him. His drink level routes don't change THAT much. Each drink level just adds more damage and like 1 or 2 new moves or properties to already exsisting moves, all of which are done with simple commands. Jamie's biggest struggle (imo) is that you're gonna have to be a whiff punish and footsie's god to actually get anything done in the beginning lol

@@mickeybat5816 I plan on it. I've been trying to read up and learn what his best buttons are and so on. Once I have some free time I'm just gonna jam ranked games for a bit and get some context then probably try to watch a few guides.

I’m nowhere near a pro at SF6, but a thing I’ve seen many lower rank Jaime players do is not drink, or drink minimally. By this I mean they will only do 0 drink combos. The ones who drink never go above a certain threshold (varies player to player). I assume this is because those Jaime Players are trying to learn a specific aspect of Jamie’s 5 aspects. Will this help you learn? I don’t know. But breaking him down into digestible chunk will certainly help you get over your reluctance to pick up a character you like.

Coolest character in the game. Cool moveset right up there with Ken and DeeJay imo. But Capcom really needs to buff him up tho so he can be taken seriously in competitions.

train against them in training mode. You'll start to pick up on what works and doesn't work

Freeflow Strikes is Yun super art while Hakkai is Yang super art. Canceling into LK Hakkai is my favorite thing to do.

It feels like you have to give up too much damage and pressure to get a drink in. Would have been cool for Capcom to shorten his drinking window and make him start every round from drink level 1.

I love Jamie but there no shot hes not getting buffed in the future. I don’t better neutral or anything but my mans needs to keep 1 drink from round to round. LITERALLY JUST 1, make it an EX swig that he has to do once per round for the carry over if you think its busted

Anybody else think this Jamie color is a shout-out to brawlhalla? It’s the same color scheme as the unlockable color scheme in ranked and there was that street fighter crossover a little while back.

This game has some of the worst input detection i have ever seen of any fighting game. Try to do a super you get dp, try dp you get spin/or forward kick. it's just awful

Jamie is the worst human being. He knocks you down and let's you get back up. "It's time to train." He then donkey kicks you in your face. That's not training, homie.

He's among the weakest along with zangief and lily, but he's viable and has a lot of setups in the corner to f things up. If he hadnt to give up oki he would be stronger
