Hello! Two ways i calculated it, one with a timer but it wasn't that consistent. So it went something like, Distance in miles = 5 meters / 1609.34 meters/mile ≈ 0.00311 miles, formula wise. Two, more practically. if you get in a Rayfield Caliburn, drive to get to over 200mph, jump out and turn on your sandy, stand still then catch up and jump back in while car is still moving, that exercise alone suggests V would be moving that fast if not faster.
