Been thru something like that sampan up north when I was a kid. The locals has balsa, made from bamboos and large enough to carry a small truck or two. They ferry jeepneys, tricycle etc. across the river. Truly, Filipinos has the will to do 👍✌️🤙🤟

That fish looks like Budlis (Tuna). Eastern Samar has a beautiful coastline. There are many beautiful islands in samar waiting to be explored.
