I FINALLY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLORE THIS MYSTERIOUS RIVER SYSTEM LEADING FROM LAKE CAROLINA OUT TO THE OCEAN...
What an amazing day stand up paddle boarding in Davao Oriental. After a quick breakfast, I head towards the the famous turquoise lake along the road in Baganga. Heading down the river, I become immersed in an incredible green and blue environment, full of so much beauty! This really is an amazing place in Davao, and has so much tourism potential!
There are no crocodiles in this part of Davao Oriental, so paddling here is safe, fun, and just so freaking beautiful! It takes about 2.5 hours if you stop quite a bit and just take time to enjoy the river. An amazing river in the Philippines, a beautiful day paddling in Davao, and another awesome experience exploring somewhere new...
POWER ON!

Our country has so much potential for water tourism and yet it is not that developed compared with the US where you have river tubing, fishing, boating, kayak, etc. I'm just wondering because a lot of people want to do these activities during summer break,and weekends.

Stand-up Paddleboarding down a river without any hazards seems like a great way to spend the day as it's just you and nature all around. That river looks like a great place for birdwatching as well, as evidenced by that Brahminy Kite flying overhead and the many birdcalls that can be heard in the background. I reckon the river is mostly brackish then? Or does it start as freshwater and slowly becomes more brackish the nearer you get to the sea?
@BecomingFilipino

mainly brackish, but the lake is very much fresh

6:22 It's a type of mangrove ( _Xylocarpus granatum_ ), called "tabigi" in Bisaya, "cannonball mangrove" in English (for obvious reasons). Not edible, but the wood and bark is useful.

You had some monggo with butternut squash and a bitter gourd with egg that was stir fried and some chicken curry 🥒🥚🍳🥘🎃 And you went paddling on the river ocean 🏄🏞🌊🌊🌊 They are getting some shells or ibay on the ocean river 🦪🦪🦪 And you had some cassava on the cottage 🍠 And you had a strings of saliva on your mouth when I see people eat with strings of saliva in there mouth feels like I'm not gonna eat anymore because it reminded me of my brother drooled on my cake when I was little 🤤➡🎂🍰 And Kumar went on the beach nearly couple decades ago and it was surrounded with coconut trees 🌴🌴🌴🥥🥥🥥🏝🏖⛱🌊🌊🌊 And most of the roads were rough 🪨🪨🪨 You had maltitios sort of like Reese's peanut butter chocolate that was coated and instead of kitkat is take it 🍫
