Bedford Rascal, Suzuki Super Carry , fitting a replacement wheel arch!

in this video I remove the rotten wheel arch panel and repair the panel beneath.
then I attach and weld in the new replacement panel.
this is not a full how to guide, but hopefully you may find it helpful.

Great work there on the little Rustcal. You are a true professional. I am an amateur so need the guard on when cutting and grinding. Do you have a favourite mig wire.

It's last days for that grinder. I'll get a new one! Clarke 0.9 flux cord wire with 1mm attachment on my gripper. Rustcal ❤️ I'm going to get that made as a sticker 👍

Please please please put a guard on that grinder. I had a disc break up on me last year and fortunately the guard took the brunt and sent the broken disc downhill. I still question how I didn’t receive any injuries. What mig are you using?. Love them little rascal vans. Take care and I hope you both have a lovely Christmas.

Was that grinders last outing I think. Will purchase a new one over the festive season 👍 Clarke 105 NE I think. Non gas. I taught myself to weld and it's the best one I'm comfortable with. Rascals are funny things! Merry Christmas to you and thank you for joining us 😊🖖

@@RetroRatz I really hope you don’t think I was criticising you more of a please look after yourself. Bloody dangerous then things I use all my PPE after that day. How do you find the gas less for penetration?. I bought a flux weld welder years ago but couldn’t get the penetration I needed so now any welding I do I do it at work on my break. I joined a while back it’s nice to see what you ladies get up to. You’re a lovely couple.

It's ok, should of seen the criticism I got on my chainsaw video 😂 It's a case of getting it to ark and keeping the pool of flex within its shroud, so it's wether your guide is pull and direction if that makes sense. I will do a video on it one day lol. I plan Todo much more welding in 2021, and make some things 😁 We love communication, and were are missing meet ups 🥺
