It looks lovely. I like that chair very much. I wouldn't call it dark academia though, really. It's too twee with the light fluffy bed and pinks and whites. The mural is definitely twee not dark academia. But, it does look really nice! Good job.

my first video and I immediately subscribed. Wow that wall came out so good! Love the hat organizer and all of the little touches. Reminds me a lot of the show The Magicians!!! I am so in love with all of this. Need this in my life so bad

Lovely, but for me the large areas of white take away from the effect. Also it needs curtains. Drapery is very DA.

No no no. You had the beautiful floral arched mural painted and you covered most of it up! There is a better way to rearrange your furniture, or if necessary, ditch a piece. The mural is the show piece in the room, it should not be covered.

Agreed. If she turned the shelf so that it's taller and vertical rather than horizontal (if that's at all possible with this shelf), she could put it beside the mural and place the chair at an angle in front of the mural. That would be lovely.

Why bother to paint the lovely roses on the wall as large as you did, and then cover them up with an ugly bookshelf? And place the chair in an awkward looking position? I think you can do better.

As a designer, I feel it's all beautifully placed and very pleasing to the eye. Complete symmetry is never a good look especially with the aesthetic she was going for. Based on your comment, you clearly have no eye for design.
