I personally prefer blackout curtains and I agree with the other 2 viewers' comments - to keep the bed centred might look better. Also instead of keeping a small bedside table for the 🪴 , how about installing tiny floating shelves on the wall instead?

Yes, I agree, it’s an improvement. My only niggle is the bed so close to the wall near the window. I appreciate there’s only a small space but imo, it would’ve looked a lot bigger if the bed/headboard would’ve been centred. Gorgeous colours though. Where’s Tara? I miss her. 🥰

Is it a huge improvement? This room didn’t come together for me. The shoji idea was a good idea but the mirrors are still shiny instead of getting a nice coat of spray frost. I feel like I know too much about the couple who sleeps here. The floral wallpaper is pretty. But how does it relate to the mirror with the black shoji framing? The shoji effect is japandi but more modern than organic, and the floral wallpaper is 1986 Laura Ashley. I love the color of that blue wall. But the bedding doesn’t go with anything else except pulling a few colors from the wallpaper. The frame around the headboard is white. What else is white in the room? It’s off center. Is there a massive dresser on one side of the room? Why didn’t we address that? The curtains are sheer. In the morning the sun is going to hit that mirror and burn the residents’ retinas. We haven’t even talked about that light teal blue area rug. I’m sure she’s nervous. She’s going to get better with time. But this bedroom was a miss for me. Whatever she was going for here just didn’t hang together. It’s ok. It’s an experiment and we all learn from them. I have a shocking pink room I need to repaint. Who knew that painting the ceiling would intensify the color? But when you see on camera that things are just not working, better to catch it early. This needed a bit more thought. You can’t edit everything. 🤷🏼‍♀️

What about the rest of the bedroom? You only showed a portion of the room. It would have been nice to see the whole room.

I love the idea, but the execution is off. Painting isn't centered, and the ceiling lamp is too low. They can't get to the windows to open them too.

I might have frosted the mirrors before the shoji frames. It’s too much mirror.

The bed should be placed in the middle of the room. And the bedroom doesn’t serve its purpose because the window curtain is see through type. No privacy. Can’t have sex in that room.

Getting dressed is an issue with sheer curtains, too. Overall, this room makeover is a miss.
