I think it’s a great idea to do your room first. When other areas are chaotic, you will have your space to unwind in. I think it looks like Hermione! 💖😂

Unpacking your mattress was hilarious! The bed looks fantastic against the brick😍 and your room looks fabulous! It’s very important to have a comfy cozy bedroom to retreat to during the moving process. My bedroom was my sanctuary and the only clean room in the house when I moved in and started renovations! It was also a safe space for my kitties.

Lovely job, Hermione! ♥ Very cozy room now. The lighter paint on the wall was a very good choice. It is indeed so important to have that calm oasis to retreat to when you need a break (and a good night's sleep!) from all the redecorating and unpacking. :)

I have had a crazy 3 months decorating a small hallway with 8 doors on it 😳, great so not much actual wall but lots of doors and trims ... plus 4 rows of central heating pipes running all the way around the top of the walls and above the doors. So I decided to make it look like a New York style basement 🤗, I painted all the wood work and doors with grey satin wood paint 😍, grey and white brick wall style wallpaper on.. yes the walls, the I didn't want to waste wood on blocking the pipes in so I got grey foam tube insulation from b&q and it actually looks amazing, I'm not in the best health hence it takes me ages to get jobs done.. but I'm proud of Me . Moved into a house that was lovely but totally magnolia a couple of years ago. Now embarking on moving through all the rooms and injecting some colour. Started with the kitchen, new flooring today transformed the space and made it look much bigger and brighter. Going to switch out the handles on the cabinets and paint, so should be able to complete the makeover for about £400.

Oh my Hermione, it looks amazing, I love that you painted that wall, even though it was a pretty color it was too dark and now it looks so bright and fun. I love that you placed the bed on the opposite wall it seems to work so much better, you are so good at styling things and I am really looking forward to you next makeover video, sending love and hugs, bye for now.

My first thought at the beginning was that I love the purple headboard and green pillows! Was just wearing lilac and live geeen yesterday lol love how the space turned out! I just moved recently back into my dads house which is a trailer built in the 70s and while I think wood panneling walls are great sometimes, my bedroom needed stain killz and white paint to lighten it up. Took 2 full days 😂 I cannot wait to see more in this new space! Watched this in preparation to get me in the mood for some serious deep cleaning! Hope you have a great day!

Gorgeous makeover 💖 Just upgraded little Robyn to a big girl bed with new bedding, and we got her a chindi rug from Aldi for £7 that I'm OBSESSED with! 🌈 The one we got has purples through it and it's so soft and squishy and texturey 💜

It looks so lovely. I injured my wrist when I moved this summer so I've been painting all the horrible walls, one wall at a time, with the one wrong hand. Now I only have my own bedroom left and I will paint and decorate it as soon as I have recovered from my hand operation. Hopefully that will be soon after New Years, I'm really longing for a nice looking room of my own.
