I love all the changes, the floor and the walls are so beautiful. Have you ever considered putting some shelves in those alcoves on either side of the bed? You could dress them with so many items and still leave the bottom open to store some storage baskets on the floor like those stacking wicker baskets that I think you have? Also check out the bedside lights that you can install on the wall to eliminate the need for lamps that would take up valuable room. They make some that don't need electricity. Some are battery powered so you can avoid those pesky cords. Just suggestions, I watch lots of decorating videos. Forgive me if it sounds like I'm being bossy! I enjoy your channel but don't comment a lot.

You could just add a moulding to the top of the wardrobe simple to do. It’s so funny how everyone pulled out the iron rads and now they are back in fashion everyone is buying them again lol I prefer the iron ones they have more style. Love the concrete look wall. I would put some new art work up as it looks impersonal bare I would bring back some decor that compliments the age of the house.

The headboard and the wall behind it are spectacular in a Zen way. I like them, nice colors.

Really like the changes, especially the effect on the grey wall, very soothing. Can't imagine that length of time with your home in such upheaval. How nice to be able to settle down into your actual bed in your actual bedroom! Emergency pizza? We've all been there! :-D

Bedroom looks amazing👌😊 .. .. But I would paint the air vent cover on the wall in the same colour as the wall so it does not stand out! I hope you have a kept a bit of extra flooring to replace any that gets damaged with time!.. It happens. Move the draws with mirror onto the other wall.. The bed-head wall can be symmetrical with bedside tables and lamps.

Well, I liked the makeover it was a long time in the making. When I watch other folks paint it looks so easy like 1,2,3 and it is done and perfect for me just doing the baseboards is such a chore, I think I just hate painting. It's hard now, but it really is going to be lovely, your entire home will be lovely. Reminds me of when we rebuilt after our town flooded.

The floor is super and I love the insulation. But you’ve got to remove the grill over the vent or air return. For two reasons. 1/ to paint it properly (just like a light switch) and 2/ to vacuum in side there. If you haven’t done that in a few years, you will find a blanket of dust in there. Speaking from experience. Love your color scheme.

Great update video! You've been working hard to get it all done. I was wondering about open shelving in that space on either side of the bed? Some black shelves would look great and tie back to the black wardrobe cupboards. On the same note, you could paint your dresser black or refinish in a darker stain. Just a few thoughts. Very nice! I would definitely leave the dresser where it is as it's nicely tucked into the cubby and it would stick out if you moved it to the other wall. Maybe consider sconces for the cubbies instead of lamps? You would save the floor or table top space and I think they , too, would look great in the cubbies and you can paint the cords the same color as your walls so they blend into the wall and disappear behind whatever you put in front. I love Pottery Barn sconces but if you are wanting antique, I am sure you can find them on a thrifting trip.

You must be feeling so excited now that everything is coming back together. I am a big fan of shopping my home. Its so satisfying to get a new look with things you sometimes forget you even have. The bedroom looks great and I love the finish on the walls.

Oh my my my Iwan! We are kindred spirits! My room is same colors, except instead of grey I do silver, glammy you know. Your bed spread, cover is purple? Looks purple. My colors are purple and green. I can live in green it is so natural. My chest of drawers is like yours. But I have 2 and a long dresser antique mismatched bed n night stands and a vanity bench with red velvet seat, my vanity is in storage. Sacrificed for the clothes. Im going to put a slim desk at the end of my bed becuz during shelter i had nothing.

If it’s anything like mine, that plastic air grill is quite easy to clip off for painting round. You’ll have to remember for next time!

I'm sure since your home has been turned upside down for months with everything everywhere this minimal look is quite restful. Enjoy it for a while. Take your time to figure out what will come back in. Once your over it, you can start adding. Looks lovely and peaceful! Love your color selections!

I have just had my two bedrooms painted and now it's a crack free and clean I'm to nervous to put anything back on the walls. Think it is a good idea to live with it for a while before marking all the walls again. Your room looks lovely 🧡

Wow! Interesting to see what the floor looked like before it was leveled and the floors look so lovely. Love the color of the room and the headboard is a cool color. I would put art back as it looks too sterile and cold. Black frames would make a nice change. I’d leave the dresser as is. Nice to have the storage bench at foot of bed. It’s looking great Iwan. I am really looking forward to seeing the end result of your bedroom. It is looking so lovely, I love that radiator. That grey paint looks like the walls are like fabric almost! I didn't think I'd like it once it was on the walls but it actually looks pretty good I think. I would deffo pop stuff on it's walls though, that grey will look good with some bright artwork on it. Something abstract and spashes of colour perhaps? It's all looking very sophisticated and chic so far! I bet you were glad to be sleeping back in your bedroom again after all that time on the floor in your living room.
