ITS A BUMBLEBEE, they are way more chill than normal bees.

Big old Bumblebees really are gentle old souls. Their stinger is not for you, besides it's truly a case of something that hurts them way more than it hurts you. One got inside my shirt one time when I was riding my motorcycle, traveled several miles with me sitting on my bare shoulder until I reached in to see what was itchy and pulled out a live 🐝. I was not stung.

I've been saving insects for decades now, and it constantly amazes me how they respond to my intention to help them. They go where I want them to, either into a container or even onto my hands when they have no logical reason to do so. All life is amazing and as a species, we minimize how amazing (sentient, conscious and deeply feeling) other species are as well, as though we had a monopoly on being sentient. Hopefully, all these new studies showing how intelligent other animals are (using tools and what not) will help to change our collective minds.

I watched this the other year and today after a day and a half of finding a tired bee I brought her in as she was also on the same flower I left her and made her a little house for her to relax in until she gets her strength back, Ive sat with her for 3 hours as she wouldn't leave my hands, needed something to cheer me up and that little precious being has given me that and more. What amazing little creatures 💖

Bumblebees are actually pretty friendly. They rarely attack. There's so many variations of bees .

My grandmother had a bumble bee that would come to her each day. She’d open her door and hold her hand out and the bee would fly to her and allow my grandmother to bring her in the house and feed her.

One time I was walking home on a warm summer afternoon when I stumbled upon a bumblebee that was walking on the ground, struggling, not being able to fly due to dehydration. I picked the little fella up, put it in my open bag and brought him home. When I got home I left the door open that leads to the backyard beforehand. After some googling I read that you should feed dehydrated bees some sugarwater, so I did. After like 10 to 20 minutes he was getting more and more active before he finally started flying. The part which I'll never forget is how he flew, almost float like a good 10 seconds in front of me, before he took off to the open. I still firmly believe to this day, that he was showing gratitude to me for saving him. That was one of the happiest moments of my live. 🐝

I teach children about the importance of pollinators and I always share this video with them. It is always so exciting to see their reactions and them realizing that bees are not as scary as people make them out to "bee". They share with me that this video made them less afraid of bees and helped them realize that they don't want to harm us. Bees are such beautiful creatures and I am so happy you made this video to help people realize that.
