I love the early Bee Gees music! I didn't care for their disco as much, but they were able to adapt to what was going on at the time.They were a very talented group. Barry is one of the best song writers ever. He wrote the theme for the movie Grease, sung by Frankie Vali. Thanks KK!

So this song came out in 1977 when I was in grade school. I always thought it was catchy but kinda long and arrogant ("I'm a woman's man, no time to talk") . It was much later that I learned to love it and how it's my favorite song by a duo or group.

That takes me way back. The Bee Gees came to hate it because it labeled them a Disco group even though they were putting out hits long before Disco.

I'm from Bensonhurst Brooklyn and we went to the 2000 Odyssey to dance once in a while. The movie made it look a heck of a lot nicer than it was. BUT!! It was the best dance music. Try listening to the Saturday Night Fever sound track!

You never saw Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta? This is from the soundtrack. Travolta walking down the streets of Brooklyn with two slices of pizza one inside the other. Which know self-respecting New Yorker would ever do. LOL. When my buddies and I were about 18 we used to visit a certain movie theater with three "X's" in the marquis. This dam soundtrack played in that theater every night for 5 years. LOL. And we HATED disco.

Another example of how us Brits helped change the musical world. Said it many a time online how it's us Brits and Americans who really made and changed music.
