Ritchie Blackmore has often stated that he likes ABBA very much, which makes me think that how many rockers actually hide the fact that these disco masters were actually so fucking great composers. Because they are, this is immortal piece of music composition.

I'm a metal guy, and currently practicing Bee Gees songs on bass...😁 And here's a bit of information for you, none other than Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols is a big fan of the Bee Gees. When I was 14 years old in the 9th grade back in 1998, in my drama class, the teacher gave us an assignment/project to pick a song to lip sync to in front of the class. I had always loved this song so I decided that this was the song I was going to do. I got my mom to take me to a vintage clothing store and I bought an awesome 70's disco outfit to wear for my lip sync...white bell bottom pants, platform shoes, and a brown yellow and orange disco shirt with a big wide pointed collar...I looked like a guy straight out of 1977. When the day came and it was my turn to perform, I walked into the room in my disco outfit and started lip syncing and dancing to Staying Alive. The whole class went crazy...they loved it and my performance was voted everyone's favorite...needless to say I got an A for the assignment, lol. I was nervous as heck to do it because I had always been really shy and quiet at school, but I'm so glad that I did go through with it. I will remember it for the rest of my life. 😁

I remember when me and my friend performed of mice and men for our GCSE and because of our American accents and how emotional we made it (some people cried when I shot Lenny) I think it's okay to say that ours was the best of the class. Everyone else did great but comparing the reactions to others and then the reactions to ours you could just tell ours was best and me and my friend were really happy we got that kind of reaction as we didn't realise it was gonna be that good. Anyways reading ur story made me smile. This deserves a like. Good for you!

Have you ever heard their vocals to this, without the music? They had amazing voices. These brothers could harmonize like few other families, even though singing families harmonize very well. There is also a cute video of The Three Brothers singing on a variety show in England, when they were young.

I’m gonna start with recommend you with Give Life Back to Music, Lose Yourself to Dance, Instant Crush, Giorgio by Moroder, and the greatest of them all Touch ft. Paul Williams.

The whole class went crazy...everyone loved it (well, most people did) and my performance was voted the class favorite...needless to say I got an A for the assignment, lol. I was so nervous about doing it, because I had always been really shy and quiet at school, but after it was over I was so glad that I decided to go through with it. I will remember it for the rest of my life. 😁 ***Update*** The teacher actually did have a student who filmed each performance, so there probably is a video of it somewhere, so I'm working on trying to figure out where it could or who might have it. I have contacted several people that were in that class with me to see if they might have any idea who might have it. So far I haven't had any luck. I'm pretty sure the teacher probably had the original video tape, but unfortunately she passed away several years ago. And yes, I have posted this comment before on this and other videos of Stayin' Alive, I just enjoy sharing my story with the people who may not have seen the original comment.
