There is a documentary about Bee Gees which show the making off of "Tragedy" in which you can see the effort these guys put in every song. The part when you hear a sort of "thunder" is not a special effect, it's Barry's voice. Just to make that as they wanted they did it zillion of times. At that time, you didn't have the computers to merge few seconds of track, just sing, play instruments and repeat...

React to the bee gee's Nights on Broadway . U will love it !
@kevincaulder90012 жыл бұрын
I'll keep it simple for you since you obviously love the romantic side of music, particularly the Bee Gees. LOVE SO RIGHT FANNY BE TENDER (WITH MY LOVE) and because it has more of an edge, NIGHTS ON BROADWAY. That should cover your Bee Gees fix for awhile. Don't forget the tissues.

🔵The Gibb brothers wrote both "Tragedy" and "Too Much Heaven" (another American #1), in an afternoon off from making the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band movie in which they were starring. Then in the evening they wrote another American #1 single, "Shadow Dancing" for their brother Andy Gibb.

That little explosion near the end of the song was Barry's voice :)

I DANCED the nights away for about 20 years to the BEEGEES music. I used to get lost in this song 🎵. Beautiful even though it's a dance song. The gunshot at the end is simply magical. BEEGEES FOREVER.
@philipdavison38625 ай бұрын
that is not a gunshot,it was done with barry cupping his hands over the top of a microphone and making that noise,you can see it on a video they did making the record.

One day you should really do yourself a favour and react to some of their earlier songs like "To Love Somebody", "Words", "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", "Holiday", "I Started A Joke" and "Massachusetts"! Once you try one you will want to react to them all!! Brilliant job on this one as usual!!
