Het Travis are you still brewing mead? I loved the video on the bubbling and would love some more videos about it. I did my first mead yesterday and it's 24 hours in, still not bubbling but water is already pushed to one side.

I haven't done a batch of mead in a good while. I still have a bottle cellared from the last batch, I should crack it open and see how it has aged. I am saving various scraps of low-grade honey, from burr comb and such, to make a batch of mead this season.

I'm not sure. I wasn't farsighted enough to weigh the bucket empty, and the bucket I filter the honey into is too big to fit onto the scales. I need a pair of those scales for weighing fish or luggage...

Of course you know heating honey will destroy any good qualities of the honey i believe over 110 degree..friction of the drill and the risk of contamination
