So cute! What a fun way to use gift bags. Yellow is a happy color which makes this great for anything (imo)! This would be fun with craft colored bags in the fall.

This little book is "sweeter than honey"! I know...silly dad joke! Seriously, I love it! I can see myself buying this. My brother and dad did beekeeping as a hobby years ago. That brought back memories! Speaking of, loved the Cinderella book! I get the same feels with the original Boxcar Children book. I still cherish that book. I should buy one for myself. I will have to start looking at thrift stores.

Additionally, I don’t know your age but I’m 56 and that Cinderella book was my FAVORITE as a child! I also had the Snow White version and to me, the illustrations were unmatched! 😍💗💗💗👍 Wow... I love this!...very creative. I'm still new to the papercrafting world... I'm going to try this later. FYI... if ever in a pinch, you can buy those rings at Dollar Tree . I believe in 3 different sizes. I use them a lot for non papercrafting reasons.👋😊

Love the colour of the bags and such a great project! TFS! My son gave me a humidor box that his friend brought back from Cuba, love it! Funny I love the smell of the box, but I cannot stand the smell when someone is smoking a cigar.

where do you get your inspiration from?

Hi Annette! Generally I’m inspired by the base of the project. For example I came across yellow gift sacks in the party section of the dollar tree. What can I do with these? Paper bag journal. Something I’ve made before from a different size bag. What paper can I use that will work with the yellow? I have 🐝 bee paper! What else can I do with these sacks? I used a whole sack with the journal. What if I cut them? What’s a different type of binding that I can use? That’s my process. I also have a basket of folded papers, envelopes and bags that I dig through and that usually helps things along. Thanks for the question
