A campground review of Beech Fork State Park and Lake in Cabell and Wayne County in West Virginia. This is a wonderful campground with amazing lake views and with so much to do such as fishing, hiking, and kayaking. The lake is over 700 acres. Thanks for watching and please subscribe.

Great video and commentary on this wonderful Beech Fork State Park Campground, boat launching site and pool complex, thank you. I have to admit that while engaged in designing the planting plan for the campground (wasn't one tree there after the Corps of Engineers earthwork was completed) and working with the state on the state park pool area and trails, I never imagined that it would grow up to look this beautiful. I have camped there several times, at least twice before it was officially opened. Great fishing on the lake downstream towards the dam.

Going to TRY and make it in Mid July sometime. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE camping and so do my grandsons. I'm from Fairmont, they live in Huntington. Hope we can make it for a couple of days. Thank you again for the help. :) God Bless.

It looks absolutely beautiful in West Virginia how long till the full display of fall colors. Does it have four wheeler trails.

Thanks for watching. There are no four wheeler trails but they are around an hour away. Unfortunately the weather here hasn't been kind to the fall colors.

I used to go to the dam area for several years to my wife’s family reunion (Morrison’s) until all the older ones died and they quit having it. Was never to the Campground, but just bought myself a camper and was thinking about driving and checking it out. Thanks to your video I can just go without checking it out first, as it looks beautiful. About how much is the charge to stay there?

Thank for for watching and there are a ton of family meet ups here. The price depends on when you are camping and what type of hook up you have (full hookup or electric and water). The price is usually around 35 to 70 dollars a night, 70 being summer and full hookup. They do offer discounts for seniors and military. Thanks again.

Just seen this video! I live like 15 mins from Beech Fork it definitely is a beautiful campground.. I was wondering where u guys are from? Do u plan to make another trip this way?

Hi Donna, thank you for watching! We are from West Virginia and unfortunately we don't have anything planned at Beech Fork now. With Covid 19 a few of our plans had to be cancelled. Thanks again for watching. 👍

Hi Mandie, thanks for watching. There is a KOA near Huntington which is nice and we did a video on. There so many state parks in WV but we really like Canaan Valley, Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, and Greenbrier. It really depends what part of the state you want to visit.
