At 68 and in remission with stage 3c colon cancer, I'm getting ready for the inevitable. Yes, I do have many regrets, but I do have many fond memories. And listening to wonderful songs like this helps keep the good memories alive with in me. If you are young find that soul mate and live your life to the fullest. But most importantly walk with Jesus. Having him walking with you in your life journey guarantees happiness and success. Update 5-14-24 I would like to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers . The last CT scan in late January showed cancer involvement in my lymphatic system and many nodules in my lungs with some considered pre-cancerous . I have been on two chemotherapy drugs and a target drug, which all are given by infusion . I am Stage 4 . I have very long days at the Duke Cancer Center . I live 65 miles away in Virginia . I am getting a 3D Ct scan this coming Friday and are hoping for the best but prepared for the worst . I am spiritually in a great place . Hug your love ones and always tell them you love them . The first time I heard of this song was on December 24th 1990 at JFK airport. I just landed to the soil of United States. Along with immense curiosity also came with a lot of fear and anxiety. Remember heard this song was playing that grabbed my heart, even though I didn’t understand the words, but it was so soft and beautiful, a sense of love simply flowed through my heart. It took years for me to find out the name of this song and who were the singers. I will never forget that moment.

Tears in my eyes because of the message and my experiences, but also of joy as this song talks to ALL of my senses. Okay, back for another listen. Never tire of this.

But, somehow, it took me until sometime, I think, the following year, the same year I became obsessed with the Bee Gees (and Andy Gibb) and they became my #1 favorite music artist, to realize just how perfectly gorgeous it, actually, is. Ever since then, it’s been one of my top favorite Bee Gees songs and, every time I listen to it, I’m mesmerized by its perfect gorgeousness that leaves me in awe. There are lots of songs where I really don’t enjoy Barry’s falsetto and think it’s too much or unnecessary, but I think it’s absolutely perfect for this song. And, Robin and Mo’s gorgeous high harmonies just add to that. The Bee Gees all look so gorgeous in this very simple, yet, very nice music video. The Bee Gees and Andy Gibb are still my #1 favorite music artists and I’m only 24 years old.

I cried a little because I miss him. These songs are also special to me because back in the 70’s when the term daddy daughter day didn’t exist, my father took me on our very 1st daddy daughter day to see the movie, Saturday Night Fever & of course we know the soundtrack was filled with non other than -The Bee Gees music. I always play bee gees songs whenever I'm drinking with my grandma. As of now my grandma is 75 years old, still working 8 hours a day and can drink few cans of beers and stay completely healthy. bee gees are her favorite band trio, because of her i learned to appreciate old songs. I'm really proud of my grandma.
