The Match Against Poverty: Ronaldo & Friends vs Zidane & Friends [December 14]
The Phenomenon Ronaldo (R9) and The Maestro Zinédine Zidane (Z10), in their capacity as Goodwill Ambassadors of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), are inviting the world's biggest football stars to join them for a second edition of the "Match Against Poverty: Ronaldo & Friends vs Zidane & Friends," on December 14, 2004 at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, in Madrid (Spain).
Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium hosted a UN-sponsored match against poverty with stars such as Brazilian striker Ronaldo and Real clubmate Zinedine Zidane and other great Galaticos
Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas, Pablo Cavallero, Sebastián Frey, César and José Francisco Molina.
Defenders: Michel Salgado, Pavón, Roberto Carlos, Sergi, Walter Samuel, Roque Junior, Juan, Helguera, Soria, Placente, Fernando Hierro, Panucci and Iván Campo.
Midfielders: Jankulovski, Figo, Beckham, Mascherano, Rossicky, Alex, Daniel Morerira, Sun Xiang, Gascoigne, Solari, Dejan Stankovic, Oliseh, Lincoln, Okocha, Ezequiel Gonzalez, De Pedro, Ivan de la Peña, Magrao, Mauro Silva, Manchev, Fernando Redondo and Guti.
