I do like that thing, but one thought. How does it cope with rain and/or winter temperatures? And I saw the Vespa GS :-)

No probs with rain. Maybe you saw the rain video on face? I don't ride my classics in the winter so someone else has to test that 😂

They work great in the rain Jens, rated IP67. As Rob said in the video I'm a nerdy guy who like to fettle with these things. Pitty, not any word on pre planned GPX track that are uploaded. There the Beeline becomes a real challenge. It does not recalculate but no-one talks about this.

Still using it. I'm pretty happy with it. Would like to try the new one that has come out with a bigger screen and map.

Looks a good little gadget Rob, could it just be used as a GPS for just showing speed correctly & no directions, as we all know the lammy speedo's are not the best in accuracy 😉

You have to turn on the GPS on the app first but then you can just use it as a speedo.

So it uses Google Maps from your phone. Can it use other nav systems? I find that a lot of solutions Google Maps comes up with can be pretty terrible, such as the "Make A U-Turn"! suggestion when you miss a turn. Google Maps are very good but their nav isn't.

It only uses the actual map. The navigation software is beelines own.
