ഞാൻ ഒരു ആലപ്പുഴക്കാരനാണ് , ഞങ്ങളുടെ അഭിമാനം ആണ് ശീമാട്ടിയും ഭീമയും അവർ പടർന്ന് പന്തലിക്കുന്നത് കാണുമ്പോൾ വളരെ സന്തോഷം. ഇവർ രണ്ടു കൂട്ടരും ആലപ്പുഴയുടെ ദീപസ്തംഭങ്ങളണ്. മൂന്നാം തലമുറയിലുള്ള ബീന കണ്ണനും മുൻഗാമികളേ ഓർത്ത് അഭിമാനിക്കാം അവർ സത്യസന്ധരായ വ്യാവസായികളായിരുന്നു.

What a lady.... just shows how much toil has gone into the success of her business empire. Her passion , determination and hard work are indeed so awe inspiring . But for someone working in the Saree world/ fashion industry, making a good percentage of Kerala brides wear her sarees for their big day , she quite seriously needs a good stylist.

Hats off Beena Kannan for your passion and dedication in your profession. Very interesting to hear. Throughout life, mine as well as many others, are connected with Seematti. I remember i had a frock at the age of three to wear at special occasions which i proudly named as 'Seematti uduppu'. From a closure sale of Pathanamthitta Seematti nearly 50 years back, i bought a blue silk saree full of a special design with silver kasav, it still remains with me.
