This was so good. As a former Christian minister who lost my faith and found Hinduism through advaita vedanta, I'm just blown away by the richness of Sanatana Dharma and feel like a kid in a candy store again. I always had a connection to God, but couldn't make the literal orthodox understanding of Christianity make sense, but Hinduism just makes sense to me. Much love for putting out this content!

As a Canadian living in India for a year now I definitely agree there’s something in this land.. I’ll be honest I never listened to ur podcast but I am glad I did - it was exactly the depth. Leaving the west was a great decision for my path - my journey for shiva and understanding the magic of spirituality actually started with mantra of shiva.. I was in a dark place after losing my home in a fire and my yoga teacher here told me I should chant om namay Shivaya.. I didn’t take it to heart until one day I was jogging and the thoughts of everything was weighing my heart .. so I started chanting in my mind and like magic the heaviness in my heart was lifted and my tears from falling.. I was in touch with each step I was taking… and so I decided to actually start to believe in this .. it’s so hard to be spiritual if u come from a land of logic but once u experience it everything makes sense… our Rishis and vedas were so smart. I think this land called me back for a reason .. Har Har Mahadev ! Thank you - keep loving keep believing

@LostMedha_ India is no longer the land of vedas and rishis. Once the Vedic society collapsed, then we saw the rise of the priestly class. I'm not criticising the priestly class, thanks to them the Vedic philosophies survived and developed. BUT, ordinary people in India fell from grace by being too lazy to learn Sanskrit. It has been this way now for 3000 years. And the final blow was the Muslim conquests of North and North-West India. India no longer exists. India is long gone. In other words, India is not Bhārata.

As a Dutch follower of your Channel I am impressed with this interview and Googled this Swami (Alexander) and I guess he is far more spiritual then the most Indian people.. Living in the West (what I have done for more then 3 decades) in this way and being helpfull, social, vegetarian, doing yoga, meditation and trying to learn mantra's on the university here is something what goes against the mainstream and makes it exorbitantly more difficult then when you would live in an pro-environment.. I experience this myself, but still choose to live with some high values and spirituality standards, together woth my family and children.. In India much people don't understand what they give up as they more and more try to copy the West.. which is mainly physically and mentally unhealthy for mankind.. I have deeply raelised this in may ways.. Love. Raj

Om Namah shiva ya is so powerful indeed. I was mindlessly chanting the mantra at varanasi, drawn into the hypnotic chants of the sadhus and that night I had a dream where I was in a room and there were cobras coming out of the walls, ceilings, floor. Literally cobras everywhere. It was so amazing and wasn’t scared as I knew I was dreaming and am not scared of snakes. And I’m not even Hindu nor Indian. Was quite the memorable experience 🙏

Snakes denote kundalini shakthi.... May be your dream was symbolic of your kundalini energy awakening or rising...
@udaykumar-lv4xo4 ай бұрын
It's not the mantras alone, sadhus have a larger conscious,pschychic sphere that you were exposed and grace that follows.snakes all over is nothing but Kundalini showing you that you are one snake made of infinite snakes...every cell of your body is a snake. Its a coil of energy when aligned will behave as one single being..if you continue on this path, you will experience that this snake coils around the universe itself and you will experince that the entire universe is inside you

Ranveer, I love how you mentioned that Shiva worshippers like yourself have somewhat lost a zest for life. Ma Kali is my ishta and as I’ve grown closer to her over the years, so has my own blissful state of detachment. Though I especially feel lonely when my unreligious friends complain about how I “waste my life” by not caring to go out and party, travel to meaningless places, etc. I don’t even pray for anything anymore too, I thought it was just me! I feel selfish asking Devi for anything.. I just fully trust and surrender to her auspicious plan & try to courageously overcome the karmas that I face in this lifetime - only asking for a family member’s health during emergencies. When I pray, I just give thanks to be able to have her in my life/know her names. Great Episode.

His understanding of all these concepts is very accurate and admirable. Most foreigners are not able to understand these things to such depths, but He has understood these things and he has the right approach and right mindset. And in Tantra sadhna it is said that if someone had done sadhna in previous births then he will start sadhna again in the next birth no matter where or in which culture he is born

I bow to ‘Guruji’s’ deep insights and knowledge into Hinduism.. The best part was ‘things unfolding into Rishi’s intuition’ ..I needed to hear this today ..TRS always answers one of the endless questions that we had growing up within us through their podcasts..May God speak through you.❤

It always brings me peace when I see Swami Purnyachaitanya ji 💚 Still remember my first visit at Ashram and I saw him in amphitheatre seating like monk, spreading light, I still have goosebumps after remembering it, he looked like divine 😇 Didn't know that he's Swami 🙈 But couldn't talk to him as may be it's not my divine time yet. He's so humble, cute and down to earth with full of light and peace. One day we'll definitely seat together and want to learn alot from Swami.

Swamiji Pranam. It was lovely to hear you, I have seen you chant mantras before but not heard a conversation with you, this was very nice. And Ranveer, what can I say. What you said at the end: wishing for an early peaceful death, I am in the same boat. Earlier I was so focused on being healthy in order to live a long life, atleast till 80, but now the thought of living till 80 sounds terrifying. I feel the calling of Brahman more and more, and the desire to become one with Source, our Creator is all powerful. In the time I am here, I hope I can do justice to the incarnation, I have two special needs children, I know I chose this to be their protector so I shall live out my days doing that. Om Namah Shivaya. Jai Gurudev.
