@@FourteenthAngel Don’t you think the Dragon Quest Dai anime remake will make modern anime fans to look back to Beet? I remember it being just as good as Dai when it first came out.

@@SaitohYatate I actually watched the Adventures Of Dai anime before I heard of Beet(which I didn’t even know had an anime adaptation)!😄 I hope this series gets a modern reboot using the same artstyle and studio as the Adventures Of Dai reboot!😄

The last I heard was that the mangaka suffered some... hand issues and haven't been writing much of anything. The mangaka goes past the excellion arc though

@@homra8970 he broke his right middle finger in 2006 and has healed since then. The series is continuing with the latest vol is released on 2023 July.

شمس It did but I don't know the release schedule and there doesn't seem to be people translating chapters as I've only seen maybe 2 new chapters which was a month or 2 ago. I also don't know how many chapters have actually been made post return

The story never finished is what I remember... Including the manga version I think?~ a shame because I actually like the story a bit~ I think they were supposed to handover some guy to the main HQ and also to have their levels appraised but the problem was that, kizu? I think?, The blond boy was formerly working for a vandel and thus could get him imprisoned... And that's where it cut off~

Something happened to the mangaka of the manga and they put it on hiatus. it's been on hiatus since 2006. There's still no word on when it will continue.

It's been years since the manga went on hiatus, like what has it been 6 years now? We can always hope it will get picked up again, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Although atleast it's not because the manga artist just didn't feel like continuing it like with DNAngel, which really pisses me off.

I think when they started Excellion, is when the anime completely veered off of the manga (or the manga wasn't even finished yet. I think the manga was slow to continue, as I am still quite close to where they left off after. that crazy green dude. I am hoping they made a remake like they did with HunterXHunter once BTVB gets longer.

This opening is SOOO misleading. I thought when I watched it the first time that Beet would have that group like his brother. But no. Never. We never see the entire group reunited. :"o
