Les larmes aux yeux, ce jour lointain de mes vingt et un ans où pour la première fois j’écoutais cette version, j’avais l’impression d’avoir découvert "l’oeuvre" qui me faisait pénétrer dans le mystère du duel musical, une atmosphère qui surpassait ce que jusqu’alors j’avais entendu, provocant des émotions contradictoires et néanmoins jointes : tremblement, douleur, exaltation, jouissance… (Conmovido hasta el llanto, aquel día lejano de mis veintiún años en el que oí esta versión, tuve la impresión de descubrir la "obra" que me consentía penetrar el misterio del duelo musical, una atmósfera que sobrepasaba lo que hasta entonces había escuchado, provocando emociones contrapuestas y no obstante liadas : temblor, pena, exaltación, gozo…)
