Bravo to the pianist ‼️👍👏🎹🎼

Beethoven at his most experimental. The finale of a piano concerto with chorus. The master at his most wonderful music. And I love the horn calls....

The sound was excellent and the pianist in both execution and style conveyed how I imagine Beethoven would have performed this piece: as a teacher leading his students into the potential of a world of joy and harmony (see the lyrics for a fuller appreciation of the meaning of this work). The stoic response from the audience mirrored the conductor whose seemed not to understand the nature and purpose of this masterwork. No matter. Beauty transcends popularity. And this was beautifully done.

So many versions of this piece out in the youtube land. So much to enjoy! Thank you for this wonderful performance.
