We took stock standard Beetles on a Safari to find the answer to this burning question, but things started off a bit bumpy.

The adventure trip kicks off and it's time to take the Beetles out of storage and put them to work on this off-road camping trip, but not everything went exactly according to plan...again

hey guys! my grandmother drove Nairobi to Cape Town in the late 1950's in her VW Beetle with my dad (toddler). Amazing what the little buggers can do!

Awesome! just refresh your engines (or even go higher?) and lift 1~3 inches (spindles, suspension and/or tires) and you can explore more!

My first car was a 76 model 1600 with the big robot size taillights. No breakdowns ever😁. Suppose a”back-to-basics” trip can be a lot of fun too.

Proof that these vehicles need to be driven, once they stand for a long period of time small things start failing from age

Love the Beetle had one only issue its the german engine change the engine to japanese and it may out live u

Even a severely out of tune vdub gets the job done. Imagine how much better it would have been if they had them both in a better state of tune 🤔
