I've already made this "shooting pen" 25 years ago. It worked an still, with a .22 semi short cal cartridge. Of course, the hitting nail had to be eccentric, hitting the anular cartridge end. I made it and I gave it as a present, to a police officer of mine. He appreciated it, indeed.

@@Coles_creations made one with 6mm flobert... It does 20-25 joule, blast a .22 airgun pellet with ease 1/2" into chipboard.. Very much fun...
