Losing your hair young absolutely crushes your confidence. I'd never make fun of anyone who had a hair piece because of how mentally destructive it can be. Guy looks about 19 now.

I was really mentally crushed when I started balding at 13 I am now 14 but I have taught myself that it doesn't matter you are what you are and learn to love yourself but I am still trying to get it back hair loss has stopped just waiting for the regrowth process and I hope my hair recover but if they don't it is what it is I can't do shit about it

I think good hair is 95% of someone's self confidence. I can't understand why we have to lose it. If we just got old by it turning gray, fine we can dye it....but losing is so unfair and makes life so depressing. I've been balding for years and its taken its toll. No self confidence due to being turned down 100's of times for dates. But I can't see myself getting fake hair. And it's no help that we are in the most superficial time in the history of the world.

I started losing my hair at 21. Spent over 10 years with a confidence knock ( big time ) I got one of these when I turned 32 and wished I'd done it sooner. Honestly if your worried about getting one. Pluck up the courage you won't regret it

Am 58 now but can remember when i started loosing my hair at 26 I think was the first time I noticed. And yes it’s the shits but you just have to power through it and I can’t tell you how many bold jokes I’ve heard . I do feel sorry for these young guys but I can tell you life was still good for me and it will be for you. A big smile goes a long way .

I am 29 and balding. I just spent the last hour shaving my head. I must say that it's a beautiful process. Preparing my equipment, cleaning up before and after. I feel fresh and my scalp doesn't itch anymore.

@Ed Teune I think it’s a personal choice. These systems are excellent quality, and if it restores someone’s confidence namely young guys, I say go for it! Not everyone has a perfectly round smooth head, rather one that resembles the surface of the moon! In my opinion a Real Man is defined by deeper qualities of character than shaved head 😉

Your Salty that when you started losing your Hair this type of hair Piece wasn't available so you had no Choice but A) Wear an Obvious Toupee that were considered funny because of how out landishly fake they looked or B) Embrace Baldness. Now you cant go back because to much time has past. @@kevinnorris6558 man, don't listen to people. I'm 31 and started losing my hair when I was 19 and went fully bald at 21 and started shaving it all off. I shaved for 7 years, and had all the confidence in the world..until I realized how being bald had hindered my life without me knowing. The truth is no matter what anyone says, being bald is a deal breaker to 90% of young women. Cold hard fact and I've lived through it. It even affects how people view you socially and it feels like they pity you, and no man wants to feel pitied. Being bald makes one look 10-15 years older. I decided to get 2 hair transplants at age 28 and wear some hair fibers to add density and let me tell you, all the sudden I got 10x more interest from women and men respected me more as they saw me as competition. Same person, same confidence. But it is way too thin, as I was norwood 7. So I've decided to wear a hair system now and I wish I started doing that when I was 21. Anyway, hope it all works out my friend. Good luck

I started loosing my hair in my mid 20’s & as a guy having very thick wavy hair it was pissing me off. On my 31st birthday I buzzed my hair to the scalp for the first time ever! Wow I couldn’t believe I did that!!! After a few months I shaved my head bald. Wow I couldn’t believe what I looked like in the mirror! Now I’m 51 & I’ve saved sooo much money on shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, going to the barber to get my hair cut, etc. I buzz & shave my head myself whenever I want. My hair or lack of it is not who I am. I’m a liberated dude who’s enjoying life everyday. Godspeed😁

My hair started thinning at 16, went through a lot of bullying and stress and then I used topik but that stuff doesn’t look natural this looks amazing! It gives you confidence! I wish there was one that is water resistant for the those beach vacations.

Glorious, such a good job and i'm soo happy for the young man. I also think that bald men can still look attractive and it's all about inner confidence, there's nothing worse when a bald man has a comb over or a ponytail. If you're bald and can live with it, go for it, if not then this system is wonderful. Society is cruel in that we judge people so much on their looks

From experience i can tell you some things which you may not be told at your consultation (im not referring to this company btw): - the glue/adhesive gathers natural sweat (especially in the heat or when you exercise) and this can easily cause leakage from the side and back. Often that then sticks to your normal hair (on sides)!! - this is a massive issue! - the adhesive doesn’t stick the same for people. Some its better and others it will take a lot of patience and trial! A process that can take 6-12 months….if you can remain patient! - the front ‘hairline’ area gathers natural sweat and becomes dark and noticeable! - your scalp will itch from time to time and you are advised not to scratch!! They advise you to tap the area rather than scratch!! Doesn’t quite work! - From sweat & glue mix (after wearing for a few weeks) you can start to smell it! When you remove it the smell is awful! Its actually quite sickening. - despite being told “you can carry on with your normal life” the reality is - you cant! You have to adjust and be prepared for constant maintenance! For example - you cant wash every day! When you do wash you have to use special shampoo and that costs! The towel dry has to be very careful (almost like bathing a baby!) You have to apply hairspray or gel provided by the fitter and not general stuff! Again, its pricey - you will find yourself having to visit the fitting company almost every 2-3 weeks for first year! That’s inconvenient, especially if you live far from the company - over washing or sweat (from exercise etc) will mean your hair system will not last beyond 5-6 months if you are lucky Overall - its not worth the hassle! The only people who can live with the hassle are those who are really concerned with hair loss! For them this is a possible solution. However, if you dont want to have to look after a hair system like a new born baby, I suggest you do not go with this!

I agree with a lot of this :-) We teach to make it easier for all...for me it takes me 1 hour 30 mins once a week to remove and clean and attach...I tell people not to go ahead if you do not put the work in - with our help of course - Plus our systems are at the top of the league

It’s probably a good temp fix especially for someone as young as this guy. Long term the fix is hair replacement I’m sure or even just learn to live with what you have, especially as you get older and when your not a kid anymore. If he just wore a baseball cap on top of his balding head he would look young too.

Well I've had one for years and it all depends on what you're trying to do with it, the particular style, and so on. Plus whether you're going poly, or the combo. I've only used tape and I take it off every night.. if you keep it on for any length of time yes then these issues can definitely arise.. again, it all depends on how you use it..

That style and cut (hair unit) looks so good. I had one also around 26/27 yrs old, 92', black American guy here in the USA I was cut in really good. But I think these type of systems look work really well for Caucasian hair. I've lately been finding black hair stylist in in the US on KZfaq doing custom (man weaves, what they call it), :Mickey Da Barber and 10staxx, doing hair units and it's amazing how good those black guys hair styles are. :))

I live in Madison Wisconsin so if I showed up one day looking like a woman no one would care so showing up with a hairpiece one day people would be either very supportive or not even think it was a big deal. Things are changing when it comes to men and if you look at history it has flipped back and forth which sex wears the most makeup and who dresses up the fanciest 😎

You know once you start off with these systems it is obviously a bit odd at first but you get used to it it's just like putting clothes on in the morning or makeup. It just simply becomes part of your routine. And as time goes on you get pretty proficient at it.. these systems are getting better and better as time goes on as well. Obviously the cut-in plays a crucial part blending and so on and it also depends as well whether you want to go tape or tape glue or all glue as far as the overall maintenance and ease of.

I started losing my hair at 27, same as my dad. I'm 60 now and when I was younger, none of these systems were around back then, it was just an awful looking toupee that you could buy and could easily see it was a wig. For me, I've just got used to it. If I started wearing one of these systems, my friends would probably think it was odd as they know me with a bald head. However, I wouldn't mind, as I've seen photos of what I could look like with hair. But really I'm used to how I look like now.

I used to wear a hair system but I decided I couldn't be bothered with maintenance and hiding it from people. Took the step to shave my head and I wish i'd done it earlier! Not hating on hair systems though, looks absolutely georgous!

man, don't listen to people. I'm 31 and started losing my hair when I was 19 and went fully bald at 21 and started shaving it all off. I shaved for 7 years, and had all the confidence in the world..until I realized how being bald had hindered my life without me knowing. The truth is no matter what anyone says, being bald is a deal breaker to 90% of young women. Cold hard fact and I've lived through it. It even affects how people view you socially and it feels like they pity you, and no man wants to feel pitied. Being bald makes one look 10-15 years older. I decided to get 2 hair transplants at age 28 and wear some hair fibers to add density and let me tell you, all the sudden I got 10x more interest from women and men respected me more as they saw me as competition. Same person, same confidence. But it is way too thin, as I was norwood 7. So I've decided to wear a hair system now and I wish I started doing that when I was 21. Anyway, hope it all works out my friend. Good luck

Dude get this out of your head. My friends who are bald, they all look bad ass. They all work out, they grew a beard and they look 100 times more masculine than most guys. Look at the rock, statham, bruce willis, they all look great and don't give me that bullshit "they are all rich". It's all in your mind how people view you. You probably didn't have confidence because of your hair and that's what's showing to other people. And another thing you are not psychic, so you have no idea how people view you. Some advice, if you aren't already, go to gym, pack some muscles, grow a beard, keep it trimmed, get a little tan if you are white and read some books about being confidence, because whining on the internet is not helping you.

I remember when my buddies just always wear a hat. We went somewhere out to like a mediocre bar with a couple friends. The security was being a dick and made him take off his hat to enter. Hey Ed, thank you for the comforting post, I myself had the same as your friend and it made me look at hair systems - I was a golf pro and came 3rd in a competition which meant go in the club house for the prize giving - I forgot my cover up spray and removed my golf hat and felt awful. Regardess of the healthy cheque I recived all I thought about was my bolding hair look in front of my peers.

This is a maintenance monster - but I guess it sounds good on paper to get your "hair back". I totally get that. You just have to ask yourself what your replacing baldness with. Many people go back to being bald due to the heavy maintenance burden and the constant worry if someone can see trough the artificial facade. I believe stem cell science will finally crack the last puzzle of male pattern hair loss.

I went from full head of hair and confidence to 25 and it was fine by 27, now 35 I still haven't done anything and my confidence lacks esp around my friend and family family outing esp when seeing old friend and give you that double take at you bald head :(. I don't have a drop dead beautiful wife who supports me but I have told her not sure how I got her but she for leaving it or maybe some type of hair system I want to.do one that looks natural and last hopefully can find one that suits me soon! I’m wondering and I’ve seen women do it when installing their lace frontals is that they pluck the hairs from the front of the unit to make it look more natural. No one has that dense of hairline, so I feel it would look more natural, especially, with the styling this guy chose with combing the hair up. If he just combed his hair over to the side I would say he probably wouldn’t need plucking. Otherwise, this does look really good, but I would still be able to tell something was up just by looking at the density and perfection of his hairline.

I started losing my hair around 20, it would come out in clumps in the shower, it knocks your confidence completely. I've been shaving my head for years now. Wish I had the confidence to get this done, but everyone who knows me knows I'm bald so they'd take the piss either way. So as a bald man you can't win! They make fun of you when you're bald and even more so if you do this. But I say, fair play to this fella he looks brilliant 🙂 and well done to the guy doing it, brilliant job 👍👌

My friend got this done hear and honestly lease on life he's got now is made him on top form. I was going to get this but opted for surgery unstead. My concern is the hair growing back undernath. Can you give some advice?

@@chipchippahson Hey Chip Chip, in the UK we say Chip on your shoulder :-)...Have you got this re past hair system experiences?? H4AL hair systems have semi processed hair in them all - not the universal wear for a month over processed hair systems that I agree do not look great...My vlogs, The Hair Man. Many videos on there I am wearing hair systems over a year old. They can look good with the correct training for a good while Chip Chip :-). Regards Phil the Hair Man.

I lost my hairs at 18. now I am 25, i did my first transplant. my hair line is ok but the doc said I need one more session. Hair loss is very common now a days in youth.

I actually think these are amazing , my ex went from thick dark hair that he used to do all different styles to hitting only 18/19 and starting to bald by 21 lots had gone, it was due to his mum having polycystic ovaries. I only knew him with his shaved head and he was lucky enough to suit it but he hated it and wanted to get a hair transplant which costs so much , these is much better and gives u different options. I only understood the feeling after i crucified my hair by gluing in hair extensions for years when I stop using them my hair was like little rat tails , patches missing and wigs were always feeling like they would come loose and too hot and itchy . Honestly I think it looks wicked I'm a bit surprised that the guy isn't absolutely raving and proper happy with it maybe he was overwhelmed but I think it's a great transformation

I don't want to say this..but unfortunately I have to.. I know someone who used this and ran into sleep issue. He finally stopped using it and felt normal back again. It seems the top of the head is very critical and shouldn't be blocked in any way from radiating heat etc.
