Honestly it made a surprising amount of sense to me. I could honestly see it happening. Basically, future amity was talking to her past self about how everything turns out alright in her life. However, she credits a lot of her growth to luz, which past amity notices. At the point when past amity came from (before Lost in Language), luz has been nothing but a nuisance to her. Not to mention, she still holds on to her “best student” position very seriously. Learning that she pretty much gives it up for a human is enough for past amity to take action. Holding a firm belief in herself (as long as she’s working towards it, everything would turn out ok) she gets ready to trap her future self so she can go and attack past luz. Future amity sends out a message to luz when past amity was on her way.

What if you put the glyph on an inanimate objects?

​@@trustypotato9998The one using the glyph doesn't have to breathe, for an example when Luz used the coven glove to trick Belos, the glove was invisible until Luz started breathing
