Have to admit that i was a bot dissapinted when I listened to Downhearted the first time, but when I returned to it after watching this video, I found that I have no idea why I disliked it back then. It's a great song, but I like them both and am looking forward to the new album.

I kinda dig this new vocalist. This song in particular reminds me of 2008's Soundscape of Silence, which is THE album of Before the Dawn for me. Like, distillat of their music. I understand that i need some time to fully adjust to new voice, but the dude is certainly not a bad one.

Oh wow I had no idea Tuomas moved to drums… I’m sure the vocalist is skilled but I dunno if this is working here in this context. Choruses sound fine, verses are different….

The cleans definitely sound off compared to the previous albums. I am hoping it grows on me and the rest of the album maybe he sounds better!

I don't like the vocals at all. The music's good but the vocals ruined it and I think it has nothing to do with his talent, it's more about the performance, production and probably the way they directed the vocal part. He was misused IMO

Agreed. There is something wrong with the production. Paavos voice in the chorus is great, but what the hell did they do with his voice in the other parts? The singing sounds " muted", like he sings throug a pillow or something...
