You left out the spacer kit downside of adjusting the factory angles on the CV and Upper ball joint to a more extreme angle. Putting more stress on a few components. I’m trying to learn if the strut level does the same thing now that all of my suspension components have worn out from the spacer and need to be replaced.

Question: if you lift your body, the CV joint would not longer level, would that wore or damage the CV boot or joint pre-maturely? thanks

I have a completely stock 2016 f150 with a rear 2” level. Do i have to change the front control arms or shocks if i want to add a 2.5-3” front level kit?

How big can you go on the tire with just the spacers? Looking to install the spacers on 2018 F150 and go with BF Goodrich KO2s. Was advised to go with 275-65 on 20's, just curious if I can go bigger.

What are your opinions on the icon stage 4 kit for the 2018? Coming from a 2018 raptor, will I be severely disappointed? I sold the raptor because I was disappointed with the v6, so I got an f150 and am adding a Whipple stage 2 and stainless works long tube headers. I know it won't ride as well off-road as the raptor, but I want it to at least be close. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you would be disappointed at all with the Icon Stage 4 kit. We have run those parts on a few trucks and they love to be beaten up off road. And the street ride is very good as well

Great video! I’m looking to get the fox 2.0 coil overs and the matching set for the rear. I want to keep the stock 18 in wheels. What would be a perfect tire size for this set up? I want to get nitto terra grappler g2. Thanks

I have a 2020 lariat is a 2.5 level going to make my front higher than the rear I want it as close to level as I can get should I go with a 2.0

2.5" will be dead level on an F150 so you'll be all set!

2.5 will put you at dead level, but if you put any kind of significant weight in the bed, your truck is gonna sag in the rear. It's also gonna put your front drive axles on quite an angle. I installed the Bilstein 6112 suspension package on my 2020 F150, which I was fortunate enough to get while it was on sale from Stage 3 motorsports. I have the coilovers set to the max 2 inch height, and I'm quite satisfied with the results. Yes, there's still a touch of factory rake, but that gives me a little cushion per se if I load the bed up. To be honest, I've never actually seen an F150 in person with 2.5 inch spacers installed, but I've read a few internet forums where some guys were complaining that 2.5 looked a little "nose high" on their trucks. I'm personally on the side of 2 inch leveling struts based on my own personal experience. While I agree that a perfectly leveled truck has a nice appearance, if you plan on loading up the bed or doing any type of light towing, just a bit of rake is probably in your best interest.

@@Sagittarius-88 my 09 has 3 inch front spacers and sits a bit nose up. Was that way when i bought it..previous owner had plow on it..planning on adding a 3.5 block on rear to replace the 1 inch factory fx4 block it has to restore some rake. Probably replace rear shocks at same time.

Do you need different coil over shocks when using a 2in. leveling kit?

If you're using a 2in spacer you will be good to go using your stock shocks.

@@rudyhernandez9693 Rudy, there is a "wheel spacer" that does move the tire out but in this instance there is also a leveling spacer option you can see at 0:24 we are adding a leveling spacer to the stock coilover. If i do the first option of using spacers does it also raise the rear? I'd like to get ride of the rake but I often load my dirt bike and it's heigh enough as is

No it does not. The spacer goes over the front struts which only raises the front.

Correct. Spacer kits, leveling struts, and front coilovers will only raise the front of the truck. If you want more height from the rear, you need to add a rear block or add a leaf/leaf pack.

I have the Fox 2.5” coilovers, fabtech upper control arms, and my truck still sits 1” lower in the front. Would it be a bad idea to put a levelling spacer on top of the Fox coilovers? Any other recommendations to get another 1-2” higher? I showed pictures to a local garage and they said the shocks look like they are in the highest setting. Love your thorough install videos. You guys sold me on the Rogue Racing bumper.

Fox does send out their kits already at the max amount of lift, so I would advise against raising them further on the coilover collar. You will run the risk of ruining the ride quality. As far as adding a spacer on top of the fox kit, I'll say that the short answer is yes, you could theoretically do it, however again, you run the risk of ruining the ride quality. Without a true drop bracket lift kit, the MAXIMUM lift these F150's can take is 3". So if you are dead set on adding a spacer when you are already lifted 2", I would suggest adding a 1" or 1.5" spacer, then lowering your Fox coilovers so the truck is at no more than 3" of lift overall.

Thanks for the reply. I measured the height to the top of the wheel well before and after the levelling kit and larger tires. The front was raised 3" and the rear was raised 2". Nothing other than the Fox 2.0 rear shocks were added to the back (and to my knowledge they don't lift the vehicle at all), which tells me that the coil overs raised the front only 1" and the larger tires were the reason for the other 2". With that being said, should I still be concerned about adding a levelling block? Sorry for these long messages. I've been looking for a professionals opinion about this because I know the harm it can cause to the suspension components if the geometry is changed too much.

Not a worry! We install all these parts on our trucks to learn and relay our experience to you guys. Your Fox 2.5 coilovers are able to go to 2" of lift, so if you are in fact only at 1" of lift from the coilovers themselves, then experiment with adjusting the coilover height. Raise the coilover another inch and see how it rides. If it is too rough, then lower them back down. Give us a call if you still want to look into adding a spacer after playing with the coilover height. 623-434-5277

Jacob Reid I did exactly that. I bought rancho shocks with coil overs and they raised my truck 2.5 inches in the front and then I had a levelling kit with a 2inch stacked on top of that. My upper control arms were hitting the coils when I would hit a bump or something because of the full stretch and would make noises, it was also very jumpy.

Hi Danny, You can add the additional 1.5" leveling kit without an alignment although we do recommend an alignment after any modification to suspensions.

On a stock 4x4 truck, a 2.5" leveling kit should put you at just about level all the way around. When we installed the Bilstein leveling struts (2.1 inches of lift) on our 2017 EcoBoost, the truck was ever so slightly taller in the rear still. Do the spacers change change factory ride at all? I have a 2018 sport and I'm looking to get rid of the rake but I don't want to compromise the ride of the truck. I will not be taking off road maybe some logging roads but that's about it. Do you ship to Canada ?

Adam Cessford it made my truck rough. I installed a 2.5” supreme suspensions leveling puck on my 2017 F150. I also added 33x12.50r20 m/t’s. That may have contributed to the rough ride factor.
