I'm a woman and this is my go to for the colder months, and i wear it everywhere - work, home, going out etc. I get so many compliments on it and people asking what i'm wearing. I like to have only a few signature scents so i don't like the idea of having one for work, one for day, one for night, one for formal occasions... I basically have 3 scents that i rotate throughout the year. Chloe EDP for spring summer, Coco Madamoiselle for summer and Tobacco Vanilla for autumn/winter. I'm pretty picky with perfumes, nothing too sickly sweet or too flowery. I like something fresh and clean or warm and comforting.

One of my favorite winter scents! It can be heavy, but has a beautiful sweet vanilla note. Also the scent lasts so long.

Jeremy is right, this fragrance is great for black tie events. The scent is very luxurious and strong. This is a unisex scent but it leans more on the masculine side. Also, it smells a tad like Man in Black by Bvlgari. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille is the fragrance you would think James Bond would wear.

If I lived somewhere with a fall/winter, I would absolutely spend the money for this. It's the only fragrance that when I use it, I can't stop smelling myself. It's just incredible.

This is one of my favorite tobacco fragrances. I love it so much that I wear it with an elevated casual (smart) look during the day.

My favourite fragrance. One of the only I've tried in store and a day later could still smell it on my clothes then couldn't get the smell out of my head. I agree it's best at night in the winter for a nice event but I use it more often because I like it so much.

Love the reviews Jeremy, you’ve brought me a long way to understanding and creating my collection. This is potent and projects and projects. A different result from the noses it touches than I expected saying I smell of a sweet chocolate cake! That said it’s a hit even if they think it’s odd at times. Worn smart casual day to day so far. No black tie or red carpets for me yet. Love the frag, worth it, for me.

I definitely smell the cacao all the way through, subtle but seductive. Tobacco is very in your face at the opening but quickly blends with the vanilla to make a really beautiful drydown

I own this fragrance and to me it is alluring and intoxicating… I wear it more often than I should but it’s very unique and I love how it lingers and the notes change. I will agree with you that Tom ford fragrances have changed a bit. I’m also a fan of the neroli and that one is not as good as it use to be I always wondered why now I know

I fell in love with this fragrance (i usually have a picky nose, most perfumes, specifically floral fragrances irritates me). It reminded me of my father with the tobacco note (a bittersweet relic for me) and i personally love vanilla scented things, it’s just the right combination of sweet and bitter, the clove is also pleasant. On colder days and on days i dress less feminine and less my age, i wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to wear this fragrance. Especially on days i need to act more mature in formal settings, this scent has become a comfort for me, like a confidence boost of sorts. Really love it. (Fyi i’m a girl turning 18).

It is so master piece it makes me feel like I’m master piece myself

I have an old bottle. It was the first good scent I ever purchased. It's also far more linear than the fragrances I wear today. Still a winner but I'll pass on picking up a second bottle. Thanks for the update, Jeremy

I agree on everything. I had a sample of this as an oil. As a woman, I gave it to a man. It is very intense, very masculine, straightforward - absolute vanilla & tobacco, more of the latter. It is suitable for extra occasions.

Woooo this, Lost Cherry & Black Orchid are my go to scents. I’ve literally washed a few sweaters a dozen times, over time, and the scent from any of these EDPs wont come out. Def worth the money...and I’ve owned them for 5+ yrs with 0 issues

I love Tom Ford. This one is a big favorite of mine, and I wear it whenever I like! 😊. My other favorite from him is Lost Cherry. It literally blows my mind when I smell it. I have bought these fragrances from an online retailer who sells travel sizes. Much more affordable.

I just got my tobacco vanille parfum, the scent of Vanilla is very strong, and I can feel the tobacco and tonka bean scent, but the predominant smell for me is the vanilla. A very good perfume

I had the original bottle and the later bottle and yes it is very slightly different, but VERY slightly. Not enough to matter to most people. I don't care that much and it's my winter signature fragrance. I dont think its just formal. You can pull if off casually for sure!

I bought my bottle about two and a half years ago and it still smells rich. I agree that it is a winter fragrance and not everyone can pull it off. One or two sprays is all you need. If I'm wearing black from head to toe in New York where I live then I try to wear Tobacco Vanille.

This is my favorite fragrance. I have tried and smelled a lot of fragrances, but this one doesn’t compare to anything. I usually use it when I want to stand out and that is almost every day. The smells is very sweet and nose catching and its not to loud, so it matches different outfits in my opinion just perfectly.

I tried Oud Tobacco and hated it. I tried to like it, but nope. I have Oud Wood, so I figured I just didn't like the Tobacco smell. Then a few years later I smelled Tobacco Vanille and absolutely loved it. It's definitely a Autumn/Winter frag and for me one spray is enough.

Ok. Many girls told me how great/strong the scent I smell after I started wearing this. If you are spending tons of money on designer clothing, then you should upgrade to this fragrance as well. Sheer class and self-awareness. My suggestion though is don’t wear too much.

Initially it's very strong and maybe quite unpleasant to a lot of people, but give it 30 or more minutes and it smells amazing

You are spot on as usual. It’s Fords’ best. It is such an awesome fragrance. LOL, I went to about 3 stores and got samples of it once. I certainly don’t t have the lifestyle for it to justify the price but it is STELLAR.

i recently tried it and i was a bit disapointed, to me, it smells lot like tabaco - honey, idk if it just was somthing wrong with this bottle in the store or i was influenced by other smells, but i didint like it, i was expecting vanilla and got some kind of honey-ish smell. after a while it got better but i wouldnt wear it myself, but its completly fine... 100 people 100 different tastes...

Incredible smell and craftsmanship like you say but for me it really doesn’t last that long 4 hours max which surprised me 😞 Gorgeous smell though, strangely I can smell Tiger Balm in there.

Yes it's much more citrus now. Used to be super sweet and much rounder vanilla but now it's much sharper if that makes any sense.
