As a recently ex Royal mail employee, we never left parcels on the doorstep. Why do Amazon do it? How does a customer collect a parcel, that wasn't delivered? My Amazon experiences, is they leave it at the door. Then walk away to their van.

If you didn’t know, at the start the ‘extraction system’ you looked at, looks like a chiller to me, it’s what’s used to supply cold water to air handling units for cooling in the building 😊

I've taken a bit of interest in your audits because of the following, I bought a new seat car and I've fitted a crash camera system as protection for insurance purposes, and in deed because the camera system is fitted I get a slight reduction on my policy as long as the camera is used at all times, (it's automatically operated, turn on ignition and it's on) So it's become a condition of my policy! now when I booked my car in for a routine service the garage where I bought it did the service and disabled my crash camera system without my knowledge or consent, now that's bad enough because if anything happened to my car whilst the camera is disabled my car wouldn't be insured! But what made it even worse was instead of just unplugging it from the cigarette lighter socket they pulled the loom wires out and never even told me they had done that! The result was I drove ten miles home after, not knowing the camera system was disabled and therefore I was uninsured! I challenged the garage about it when I found out and they said it was disabled to prevent the camera recording other people's car registrations! However, my suspicion is that it was to prevent any discovery of them not servicing my car properly! (Though I don't review my crash camera footage, I've no reason to unless there is damage!) It would be interesting to see how Pentagon would respond to an audit by you.

Then someone who apparently is an amazon employee feels he has amazon's authority to ask a member of the public to leave the premises or he will be trespassed...BUT IS NOT PREPARED TO STATE WHAT POSITION OF AUTHORITY HE HOLDS! What was he... the conveniences cleaner!? FFS! a major commercial organisation either has senior staff member unaware of the detriment of bad PR, or a major commercial organisation has a crapper cleaner that grossly oversteps his authority! Great to see reverse parking ‘enforced’. Worth picking this up and comparing with others. It was also excellent at the Mercedes F1 site. You should have got something delivered there for you to pick up to test. I thought you usefully took adequate control of the situation and explained your position. Guy in blue started professional and was also very honest in second piece. Good piece of education.

Even though it seems the human aspect and atmosphere has been sucked out of this place, the chap on the blue security gatehouse seemed friendly enough. DJ's video evidence warning message is valid but always arouses people's 'suspicion' 😆. DJ's intense voice at 11:58 - never fails ! The chap at 15:18 was quite helpful - he didn't want to be on camera - DJ says 'you wouldn't, would you' 🙄. The baffling sign at 15:40 - i'm still trying to work that out ! Another excellent audit video and full marks also to the chap in the blue T-shirt - he gave a good impression of this place. Well done 😎👍

I used to work at an Amazon Fulfilment centre (MAN1) and the locker inside is for staff only and I’m sure that’s the same throughout all sites. If you try and use it when ordering on Amazon it will mention about having access to them I believe

I don't like amazon, but it's obvious about that box that someone ticks for collection, if they don't read it, whether they are in a 'rush' or not, and they turn up wondering why they can't collect their parcel because they didn't read the text, it's their fault not amazon's fault. Not a loophole of any kind at all.

You should consider auditing an Amazon delivery depot - you will find a lot of their vans absolutely battered off drivers being overworked and flying around clipping walls, lampposts and whatever else infrastructure. Just put a hi-viz vest on and nobody will bat an eyelid at you once you enter the van holding area. Go early between 8.30 and 9am, otherwise just camp outside the entrance and film the army of battered vans leaving the depot rammed with parcels and stressed out drivers 👍🏻

Obtaining permission is not irrational in any way. There could be valid site safety information that you need to be aware of either for your person or for your drone.

That website issue would be pretty easy to fix. All they need to do is get the Amazon employee accounts marked as employees and then filter out the employee only collection sites. Seems to me their just being lazy with the website development.
