I really love mandarin than cantonese. My goooodnes! I’ve been here in hongkong for years and yet i do not know how to speak cantonese…my boss belittled me for being so stupid. I really don’t know why i can’t really adopt the cantonese language. Thank you teacher ❤❤ it from 🇵🇭🇵🇭

in portuguese, the rule of not using the to be verb where it is an adjective is easier to understand because we have an equivalent function. When the 'to be' verb is a "verbo de ligação", the predicate is a "predicativo do sujeito", it means in chinese we don't use the verb. Nice! I'm finding out that portuguese has much more in common than I expected. Maybe because Portugal exchanged a lot with china?
