Hello, Ashley! Thank you for the content! What do you think about certifications (like Autodesk, or CANBIM)? Is this valuable for architecture companies? Or you think a good portfolio is more important? I'm an architect in Brazil and I'll try to work as architectural designer or BIM modeler in Canada. Thank you!!

Hi Ashley thank you for this video... I want to know one thing.. Does M. arch is compulsory for doing internship or to become intern architect. I am international architect ... Can I start my internship directly on the basis of my previous international Architectural degree. But I am also pursing Architectural technician diploma program to know the basics of candian Architecture. Can I become an intern architect in Canada ?

Hey Ashley I’m back again🤣! In your opinion what are the best provinces to work as architect graduate?
@architecture_tv
@architecture_tv 2 жыл бұрын
Hi David! It's good to see you again 😊 Thanks for watching 😊 This is hard to say since I mainly work in Ontario and don't have much of a comparison. I would say it depends on what you're looking for and what factors are important to you. I do think Ontario since it has a greater population has more opportunities in comparison to the other provinces.

Hello , at first thank you for all the information 🙏 i would ask you is it possible to work as interior designers for architect in canada ? Or just for people specialized in interior design . And another question what do you think about bim oppurtunities in canada?
@architecture_tv
@architecture_tv 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rima, you're very welcome! Yes I know many interior designers that work within architecture practices with Architects so this is completely possible. BIM is currently in demand so there are many opportunities and I encourage everyone to have Revit knowledge when looking for employment.

This video assumes that you already have CACB certification. If you are an internationally trained architect, the first thing you should do is get certification from Canadian Architectural Certification Board. Otherwise, it's too hard to find a job. Not impossible, but it is too hard.
@architecture_tv

Hi Ridvan, thanks for watching. This video doesn't assume you have CACB cerification or that your a licensed architect. You don't need to be licensed to work in the industry. I have a video on this topic if you like to get more insight: cacb.ca/eligibility/ . It is important to have a strong portfolio when you are applying for jobs. Also, nothing is impossible if you meet the criteria you can get your education verified by the CACB. I encourage you to look into the eligibility for CACB cerification at the following link: cacb.ca/eligibility/ and I would also contact the Certification Coordinator at info@cacb.ca , they will be able to help you. I hope this helps.

Hi Ashley, this is Dharmika I'm from India. I'm going to graduate my UG in coming may 2024. I have a doubt after my graduation is it possible to directly apply to a job in canada with a degree in India..?? Is there any other way where they will be no need of doing masters and directly join the job by getting license as Canadian architect..??

hi mam, I need to know Masters's interior program in Canada which university is best for and how demanding the interior is in Canada?

Hi Arch Redwan! Unfortunately, I am not familiar with interior design programs, I would recommend doing research. I did find one program at the University of Manitoba which you might want to look into; umanitoba.ca/architecture/department-interior-design . I'd encourage you to continue looking for more programs.

Hi Susan, I would recommend getting touch with the CACB program coordinator for more information about your situation. They will be able to confirm if you meet the eligibility requirements for the program. Here's a link to the CACB website: cacb.ca/academic-certification/ . And Certification Coordinator email: info@cacb.ca . I hope this helps.

Hi Shegbaye! Is this course from your undergrad? If it is then that might be an issue since you need to have a bachelors degree to apply for a masters degree. I would recommend getting in touch with the program you are planning to apply for more information.
