I decided about three years ago to start getting serious about making good coffee at home, and I'm kinda proud of the fact that I've avoided going gear-crazy: 1Zpresso K-Max, Clever Dripper, Hario stovetop kettle, Timemore scale, and a mug I love drinking from. Easy peasy.

Thanks a lot man. I think every coffee beginner should watch your videos cause it could be overwhelming at the start of coffee journey finding out all these brewers and equipments about coffee. But you reminds us that simplicity is key as sincerely as possible

I’ve started my specialty coffee at home journey a few months ago and i would say starting with few basic midrange equipment is a great way to start and get the hang of things before expanding and going further. Thank you for a great video, love the quality of your content 🙏🏻

Reyam!!! Thanks for commenting ☺️ I completely agree! There’s important places to invest the majority of the initial budget but going midrange for a while will make most people super happy!

Thanks, Jimmy. Very sensible advice. Good beans, reasonable grinder, measure by weight and start the experiment to produce good coffee. I’m expecting my Timemore hand grinder this week and haunting my local coffee specialty store for beans. Thanks for taking this process from overwhelming to practical.

I’m embracing my ignorance with the goal of producing something in a larger quantity to enjoy with a few friends stopping round and a consistent but not too complicated nice brew for myself every morning (my hubby goes decaf…eek… but I must confess to adding milk to my coffee) Too many sites are crazy complicated and overwhelming. Subscribed and following.

EZpresso pronunciation is correct🤣 "1" sounds exactly the same as "E" in Mandarin (and similar to many Asian languages), for those who don't know yet😂 love from Taiwan 🇹🇼
